I chose bcom program because i want to pursue LLB and LLB which requires an undergraduate degree, so I decided to go on bcom Plus i got interest in accounting and business organisations and managements It teaches me a lot in real life rather than just a job

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 15130 per year

Airtel Justdial Colgate Google Apple Zomato Blinkit These are some of the companies which had visited the college campus and give placements and internships to many students from the college There are many more small complaints also which come every semester and select some of the students for internship program

Placement Experience

The College provide placement opportunities as well as internships opportunities in running courses There avg placement package after degree is 23 lakh per annum And there highest internship package is 80,000 per month Avg package after completing the degree is 6,00,000 per annum I will go for my LLB degree and then LLM So i don't have any interest for placements till now

Fees and Financial Aid

?15130 per semester for bcom program No scholarships are provided The fees is same as general or obc But for sc-st the fees is lower Any type of extra fees is not charged ?500 is charged per subject for re-appear form for examination

Campus Life

Every festival is being celebrated in the College campus whether its a small festival or big Whether it is a hindu festival or muslim The range of books is not so much great but it's enough Classrooms are well maintained and cleared daily Sports and extracurricular activities are always on their peak, Studen are always showed doing something great in there fields

Admission

I also applied in punjab university for BA-LLB course, but due to family problem I wasn't supposed to leave the home at that time So i have to leave that opportunity and then i gave CUET examination Until the result of CUET I also gave entrance exam for MDU Rohtak In which i got admission in BA-LLB I spend 1 month there and attend classes Then suddenly i got admission in Delhi University I got 3 options in Delhi university Shyam Lal college,Shahdra Dyal Singh College, JLN stadium PGDAV College, Nehru nagar I chose PGDAV over others due to locality problems

Faculty

Per teacher there is about 30 students Teachers and faculties are very friendly towards students and each other The best faculties are commerce and language Because their way of teaching is far much better than the other plus they dont teach us like we are here to get a degree, They teach us in a way that we are here to improve ourselves and learn something There are average 6 subjects per semester and all have their different examination in which we have to appear and pass the examination to continue the course

Likes

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. I chose this course because is provides a strong foundationfor higher studies, competetives exam and careers in the cmmerce field

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

Likes

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

Dislikes

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
