Dislikes
- This department are separated with the main campus.of the university. For that we can't with others students.
- The parking area not available in this campus.. so that this is very difficult for that students who come from far away.
- To get hostel near this campus is very rare. Students face difficulties for gating PG or hostel
Course Curriculum Overview
For that I honestly speaking if you dream to get jobs in museum sector or you willing to get jobs regarding our culture and heritage for that this course is the key factor of that students. After you get complete this degree you can easily selected to participate in museum sector. And for this course RBU promote the students to get training from NRLC in Lucknow. While anyone purising this course students get offer to get intership in RBM. No other universities in India get this change to student except Rabindra Bharati University.
Internships Opportunities
This intership opportunity students get in RBM museum for 12 months. After you complete 1st year successfully. Its non paid intership. After a students complete his/her degree this university provide 2 years of paid internship facilities for that students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Museology is the self finance course of the Rabindra Bharati University. It is a Visual Arts department. The fees structure of this course mention in details - first of all the yearly fee of this course is 7815 rupees (each year). And per semester 3000 rupees have to be pay. The cost of the fees divided in several charges like - Admission fee -600, Development fees-500, Caution money and library deposit -100, Game fee -40, Generator fee -80, Library fees -100, Magazine fees -50, Medical fees -100, Practical/Laboratory fees -3000, Registration fees-100, Session fee -40, Student health home -5, Tution fees -3000, Union -100 rupees.
Campus Life
Very blessedful experience I've been spent in my university life. For two years of my degree life we get chance to visit two times of excursion. We visited new places we get many workshop in established centre which that very popular.
Admission
This department of this university provide Internship along with degree. This university provide scholarship scheme and promote to student gains more knowledge for that they sent them to training in national level centre. In west bengal only RBU promote students who want masters in Museology sent them to NRLC in Lucknow. You have to be selected in entrance exam than students can get to Admission in this university.
Faculty
The faculty of this department are very helpful.. Mostly Our HOD Dr.Baisakhi Mitra, for her I'm able to complete my degree. Her continuous support and encouragement we get success in our study. And other members of this faculty like professor Dr. Sudakshina Mukherjee, Dr. Arpita Ghosh mam they are very supportive and helpful among the students. The total number faculty of this department is 5. And our HOD mam also Curator of the RBM museum for that we get easily access the museum
