Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is quite advanced and includes programming languages from first year itself, which prepares u from the first year itself for the future, exams are held very often, papers are set at a moderate level.
Internships Opportunities
College provides good amount of internships, like in the 2nd year they provide internships to students and also in 6th or7th semester they provide students with 6 month internship. Sessions regarding projects and portfolios are always being conducted in intervals.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees is 4,93,000 per year and hostel fees is 2,26,000( for double sharing NON AC), and the fees for the registration of the entrance exam for the college is 2000/- and 1000/- extra for second attempt and the counselling fees is 10,000.
Campus Life
ANNUAL FESTS include CULTURAL FEST (FALAK) and TECHNICAL FEST( SOLSTICE) and also sports event which includes competition from different colleges, library contains adequate amount of books, which are more than sufficient and also a central Library is also being constructed and would be construed by the next year. A large number of student clubs are being run in the college premises and a new club can also be created having a creative idea behind it.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good, they provide bedsheets, pillows, study tables, shelfs in the room, food quality is decent, hostel registration happens through the portal of college itself, 226,000 is the annual fees( of double sharing NON AC).
Admission
I applied for quite a few colleges I got confirmed admission from few colleges, i chose this college over others because of MANIPAL being a good brand name and also college being in Bengaluru a IT hub opening up doors to the IT world. Admission in college happens through MET( MANIPAL ENTRANCE TEST), ELIGIBILITY OF EXAM is getting atleast 50% in 12th board exams. Cutoffs for the Bengaluru area rising year by year, and are available at the official website.
Faculty
The faculty student relationship is good faculties are very much open to students doubts and it is very easy to approach the facilities, QUIZ, MID TERM, ASSIGNMENT and followed by END TERM are the exams held in an academic year.
