Course Curriculum Overview

4

Medicine is not an easy course and you can't just get through it without studying. But it's worth it. The skills it teaches not only academically but the course itself is a life mentor. It brings in the confidence and the enormous growth as a person as well.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship is offered within the college that is Dr. Ram manohar lohia hospital. It is very hectic job and no extra holidays. The payment for internship is 30000/- per month which is one of the highest in all india

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the first year was 31000/- year which included GGSIPU fee of 15000/- then the fee increased to 36000/- in second year. In third year the fee further increased to 41000/. The fee is same for all categories.

Campus Life

4.5

Over the year , a lot of festivals are celebrated including Saraswati Puja, holi , Ganesh chaturthi and Diwali. The college fests is also held almost every year and it's one of the best days in the college. There are alot of functional societies that encourage almost all hobbies including drama, music, spots, literature

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel is 20 floor building with 3 blocks. The C block is dedicated to UGs . First five floors are for girls and the rest for boys. There are about 14 rooms on each floor and the occupancy of two in each room. The room is smaller in size but the quality of the building compensates for it

Admission

At my rank I had options of BSA, NDMC, LHMC and ABVIMS. the fee structure of ABVIMS was very less compared to BSA and NDMC which have 100000 and 300000/- per year respectively. The fee for LHMC is 7000/- year but the college was all girls college with a strength of 250 in one batch. So I preferred this.

Faculty

3.5

All type of faculties are there. Some are very good and excellent at teaching. Some are not that good but could be worked out and some are not at all tolerable. The exams take place twice a year for internal assessment and then in the year end we have sent ups followed by final exams , the proffs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs in itself is a reputed college and doing it from govt college has its own perks such as the minor amount of fees and good facilities, competitive environment. There is a proper faculty-to-student ratio. No, they'll never make you feel left out. Every student is taught properly and regular tests are taken. Almost every concept is covered. Exams are taken at the proper time, proper assignments are given, teachers are highly qualified and always are ready to take doubts. Won't say its a con but as its mbbs whole syllabus can't be taught by teachers so your contribution (self study) matters a lot too, gone are the days of spoon-feeding

Placement Experience:

After 4.5 years if your MBBS course you have to take a learning experience with your elder doctors or your representation. You have many options to do jobs if you want to continue your studies for MD/MS so you can opt for gov MBBS doctor in your own colleges otherwise you can also keep continuing you doctorate experience from the same college that they provided. Almost 90% to 100% of students were selected in the same college or in another top hospital in India.
