Atmosphere, course wise is good and good staffs

Course Curriculum Overview

In our curriculum and syllabus, postings for alternative days and syllabus is all set for study. When i came from first year to thrid year i studied basics to advanced. Assignments and posting will give the practical ideas and daily assignment helps to study the topics and all in the department

Class Size: 37Course Fees: INR 375000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is free from the college. No need of payment in the internship. Also there is no stipends there. We have to work hard .But the 1 year internship have the best certificate value. We can study the practicals, if you dont attend in 3 years. For our course there is 2 exam in intership also. Hard Workers can study more in internship

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is paid by yearly, they providing 3 years of cource for 125000 per year and there is no internship fee. If you go through scholarships a sligh amount will be reduced and if youre trying to educational loan its also privided by SRM university by proper channel through banks

Campus Life

For medicals theres only panacea and hygea for arts and sports, For other science and technology departments have all the programs like arts sports NSS Ncc social groups etc... i was there is student DSA one of the best volunteer group in srm

Admission

Overall, this college is one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu or chennai...i applied for this cource because para medicals has seperate job vacancies.i applied this college and got it fastly.also i have marks to apply for this college

Faculty

All the staffs including COE, dean,staffs and examiners are good and strict. If you dont study and behaviour is not good student will surely fail. if youre attitude behaviour study is good you will pass the exam witg good marks

Interview Experience

There is no exam for me...But my 2 friends entered through to admission tests...they have to score good marks to get admission here and there will be questions related to maths science and languages. They have prepare for exams Srm will provide the date and venue of exam...exam is simple

NIEPMD college insight

Likes

The campus environment is very good, neat and calm, the campus is well maintained and regularly cleaned
The main language that's spoken here is english, since people from all over India comes here, the common language to communicate switches to English, which is better for our English vocabulary and for future job references
It's a ragging free campus, there is strict anti ragging helpline, seniors are friendly,

Dislikes

No availability of good food nearby the college, since it's in outskirts of chennai, there is no medical or no or very few hotels around here
There is shortage of staffs here, and mostly boys to girls ratio is like 1:4 in our class,
The canteen food needed to be improved and should provide proteinacious food

Placement Experience:

The college gives internships after the final year, 6 months is the duration of the internship, 3 months inside campus and 3 months they post us outside the college to nearby hospitals or colleges like SRM,Meenakshi, Saveetha, balaji etc....Placements are average, they have to do a lot of work on it, but the coming placements are with a good salary amount

This college have good cirtificate value
This college have a great principal who is very passionate about what he is doing
You will be Able to have a budget friendly life here

Dislikes

Faculties are not upto mark but they are ok
The infrastructure is not good but yes they are improving
Very bad toilet facilities, campus is not that big

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is possible here You will get intership from nimhans Bangalore and many great places There is campus placement but Id rather recommend to have other methods coz you will get great package for this course than the place they are placing us.

Niepmd - ASIA'S only college for multiple disabilities

Likes

Asia's first college which is working for multiple disabilities
Clinical exposure will be much better than other colleges
Good teaching skills and teachers support

Dislikes

No hostel facilities for students after first year
No bus facilities for students for day scholars and outside first year hostellers
Canteen food is not good as per students need

- i want to become a doctor and this field feels very much interesting to me - yeah there will be so much clients load will have a great exposure for different disabilities and well planned treatments also - detailed review about patients by clinical staff has to be there and teaching with interest - every year annual exam and it's difficult

Placement Experience:

The course consists of 3 years and 1-year internship. Every student will be able to get job after the course because during the 1 year internship you will be able to expand your knowledge and get exposure. I plan on doing my PG after completing the degree.

Placement Experience:

During internship periods itself got placement. They published my research paper with faculty guidance during the internship itself. 100% passed out students were placed in various hospitals. Offering a Master degree with a specialization in Psychiatry, Pediatrics and Neurology.

I got admission in this college by getting high marks in my HSC examination. The eligibility criteria are as follows: Applicants should have passed through HSC or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany and Zoology. The vocational stream isn't qualified for admission. Applicant should have finished 17 years old as on 31st December of the admission year

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam. The reason why I chose this course was because my family friend also joined here for architecture and she said the placements are top notch and it provides multiple opportunities abroad I got rejection from IISER because I failed in entrance exam.
