Likes

Campus life is pretty good, there will be many events happening in the college, Many club events are there which helps the students to learn new things
Placements are good, more than 1500 companies come to the campus for placements
Campus is inside the city so travel problem will not be there

Dislikes

Faculty expertise is not that good, average teaching is provided
Technical skills are not given higher priority
Placement training is average but still we can learn on our own and go for the placement

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good because it focuses on the core subjects of the computer science and it field, curriculum gives us a 50% knowledge for real world applications and futher academic pursuits, areas of improvement is in the technical skills, curriculum focuses more on theoretical part rather than technical skills

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are good in our college, from 6th semester students are eligible for placements, more than 1500 companies visit for placements and 5000 offers are made every year with average package 6 LPA and highest package 45 LPA PERCENTAGE of students getting placed is 93% Many companies like adobe paypal deloitte IBM offers placements in our company, my plans after getting degree is getting placed in a good product based company with higher package

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees is 3 lakhs excluding hostel and transport charges, registration fees 1.10 lakh ( it will be included in the Tuition fees) Tuition fees: 2.5 lakhs per year, books fees: 15000, career development fees: 25000, transport fees: 45,000; most of the btech courses have the same fees, scholarships are given based on your entrance exam rank and 12th marks, scholarships upto 60% of the tuition fees are provided, 1st rank holder of the entrance examination have 100% scholarship in tuition fees

Campus Life

The campus features modern facilities, including well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and research centers. There are also recreational facilities such as sports complexes and common areas for students. activities and exposure is less in Ramapuram campus i.e tech fest like AARUSH and cultural fests Like Milan used to be held in KTR campus but anyone from any campus can participate there.

Admission

I applied in srm institute as it had good placements and it was near my house, I applied through srmjee exam, in which I got 5,000 rank and got seat in all the campus of srm university, and chose ramapuram campus

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 1:60, they will teach the subjects theoretically but not practically, they will not help you to gain skills in the subjects or concepts required for placements, best faculties are career development faculties they provide good career ideas to the students and help them to achieve their career goals, there are 3 exams in a semester 2 class test and 1 semester exam, 60 marks for internals that is class tests and assignments, 40 marks for semester exam, 99% students pass the exam, difficulty of the exams is easy to average

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
