The attendance system . If class is not there still we have to came and put signature to get the attendance.
Purified water shortage is there in college
Too much fee is to pay for the sem. Sometimes it can't afford.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very helpful to the students. And it is very relevant to the real world application. But sometimes the sem time is too short and the exam dates reach very quickly Sometimes we can't get enough time to prepare for the exam.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1st sem fee 12000 1st sem exam fee 4725 2nd sem fee 6300 2nd sem exam fee 2145 3rd sem fee 9900 There is egrantz scholarship i applied but didn't get any money yet. I don't know about another friends fee details.

Campus Life

Very good experience.CET is known for its strong emphasis on research and innovation, along with a vibrant campus life. The college is affiliated and a religion for producing skilled engineers who contribute significantly to industry and acadamia

Admission

This is one of the best college in kerala. I always wish to studying in this college. Admission is based according to gate score or the mark based on the btech. I don't get rejection from other college.

Faculty

All factors are willing to help students. Still students sometimes afraid to approach them because of the intermittend cold behaviour. But all are intelligent . And very understand about their subject.

Placement Experience:

Placement are provided for final year students. Many companies visited the campus like TCS, Microsoft, L & T etc. The average packege offered is about 100000 to 15000 per year. However the percentage of students placed is relatively low, about 50 %

Student centered campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are good. As I understand each students get minimum 20 company interview chances. students are placeed in TCS, Johson & Johson, eependorf, cipla, infosys etc. i think some where around 50000 per month was the highest. lowest is 15 k i believe.

M.Tech in IIST: My review

Placement Experience:

I wanted to continue my research work and that is why I did not take part in the final placement process. The highest salary package offered was Rs.11 LPA and the average salary of Rs.6 LPA. Acsia technologies, Aadyah aerospace, Antrix corporation, COMSOL-India, HCL, Infosys, Intel, and zentron were some of the top organizations recruited in our final placement program.

IIT Palakkad performs admirably under the direction of IIT Madras, and the college's placement record is as impressive. The college achieves a placement rate of 100 percent. The placement committee at the college is so dedicated that they are able to not only attract good firms but also assist us during the placement stages. Our batch's maximum package was 35 LPA, while the average package was roughly 15 LPA. During the placement drive, companies such as Google, Arista Network, TCS Research, McKinsey, Honeywell, Texas Instruments, and Microsoft visited the campus.

Placement Experience:

In a very short period of time the college us able to match the standards of IIT. Few of my batchmates received pre-placement offers during the college internship program. The college was able to provide the highest package of around 30 LPA and the average package was 11 LPA. Arista Network, Google, TCS Research, Mckinsey, Honeywell, Texas instruments and Larson and Toubro were the top recruiters. Almost more than 65+ companies participated in the college placement drive.

College management is efficient. But the office staff is irresponsible. We have to give our certificates before admission, but they will store the certificates as a irrelevant piece of paper. We got our certificates back as folded and dirty.

Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank. To get other courses in my college you can have rank as low as 20k....Read More
