Remarks

The college is really good for people who have talents and willing to show It out. At the same time, u will also get spoiled if u choose the wrong path. People with talents have clubs and chapters to show their prowess. And the college can improve its hostel facilities

Course Curriculum Overview

It is good, demands a lot from students, and it is a bit stressful., We have 3 exams, in the semester, and the second exam is an open book test. The final exam carries the most weightage. The other marks come from digital assignments.

Placement Experience

VIT offers 100 percent placement every year, although the placement scenario is not so good for my branch, it is the case in every other college in India. They offer a really good internship also. Many have got it abroad.

College Events

We have two events called GRAVITAS and RIVERA. Gravitas is a technical fest that showcases the best talents of our students. And Rivera is a musical and dance fest. We have a lot of eminent personalities coming also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is based on our ranks, if we get a good rank we get a reduction in our fees. It is kind of expensive considering if u have a little bad rank. For NRI PEOPLE there are higher fees, which is really high.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarships according to different criteria. If the rank is really good, they get a decent scholarship. And loans are also available at decent rates. We need to be really good for a scholarship.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities include a lot of things like a gym, swimming pool, football, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, cricket, badminton. And the music and dance club is also very active. We have good coaches also.

Hostel Facilities

The infrastructure is quite old and yes I have opted for a hostel. The blocks are quite old. The rooms are also a bit congested. The toilets are also not so clean and stuff. This is the case for 1st years. Senior blocks are better.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

We don't have much knowledge about the alumni but the seniors are really good and helping. Vit is also a completely ragging free campus. The seniors give us advice on hostel allotment, faculty allotment, and much more.

The college has a huge amount of faculty specializing in different courses. All are highly educated and have an incredible experience. They convey their messages through and online portal, and they provide necessary study material

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
