What Students Say

Likes

The fees is very low and being in du is very chill. You can visit almost all colleges during fests.
Teachers are usually very chill and hence there is no problem of short attendance .
There are assignments but they arent as much as in other pvt universities so you can focus on your extracurricular as well.

Dislikes

The washrooms were very dirty. Especially in Kalidi college of du.
The overall campus isnt as huge as you might expect.
The marks given to each student is very very average.

Course Curriculum Overview

Upsc made me choose ba programme. As it had economics and political science both. The curriculam for ba programme is below average if you want to be in coorporate after this. For government exam it is still okay. You need to learn skills side by side.

Internships Opportunities

The internships offered were less and were not good at all. It was not a good experience . You should apply from other portals for jobs and other things . Many kids from ba opt for social media or digital marketing

Placement Experience

Usually from 3 rd year internships and jobs come along. But uou can apply them sooner . I'll suggest second year is the year to do your internships. The number of companies visiting our college was very less some of the companies were even fraud companies. So beware lol

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearwise fees is 8000-10000 for bachelor of arts programme in economics and political science. There were scholarships for students who were from sc/st or ews. The fees for computer science students was slightly higher upto 14000 per year.

Campus Life

There were a lot of festivals and concerts in the college almost on a weekly basis every festival is celebrated and every international xyz day. There are a lot of societies you can be a part of and will be fun for you

Admission

I only applied to DU . In DU i got admitted in kalindi college. It is a girls college. The admission process is pretty easy. You just need to fill the du form and wait for cut off list then submit fees to confirm admission

Faculty

The teacher student ratio was pretty okay. 30-35 students for one teacher. Teachers are usually chill. Exams are passable if you study a little and everyone gets average marks. There are usually 5 exams per semester depending on the course you've taken. Teachers are average . I trust youtube more.

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

Likes

I liked the Vibe of the Campus and Culture
I liked the faculties and Curriculam like inclusion of Case studies
I liked the way college encourage students to be a part of Social activities

Placement Experience:

Placments here are good , Reputed Companies here visit campus offering great packages like Asian paints and MRF. They also help student in preparing for the Placements by organizing variouas events and sessions

College and my 1st year

Likes

All girls college not male allowed in there without permission so everything feels right and safe
Conducts annual fests to change the vibe
Gotta know different types of people from different places

Dislikes

Student often get used to bad habits like smoking and drinking
To many protests everyone is doing protest even for the smallest inconvenience
Some teachers doesn't complete the syllabus they left it and students have to study on their own

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially I wanted to choose physics honours with somehow I felt physics will get me to hard as per by 12 so I choose chemistry honours over physics honours and as if I am doing bsc so yeah it is giving me all the Chemistry by and I feeling alrighting am a learning will help me for job one day the classroom here are very small and very uncomfortable to set and study only thing for teaching I want to change for my department is the classrooms and examination schedule date sheet is also very bad for Delhi University like they change the date sheet 4 to 5 times within a month and till the one is not confirmed so yeah that's things

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

college provide good placements. Recently companies like deloite, paytm, zepto, agile, insplore and many more companies visited in campus. only 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. Average package company offered is 500000. as for internships only 5th semester in 2nd year are eligible for applying in internships.

The professors in my college are very supportive
There is many opportunities in every field of engineering
No crowded place professors support in projects and guides you to get better placement

Hostel management are very low lack of room for home state students

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

Remarks:

Faculties of this institute are good and helps in understanding each and every thing clearly and also it is near to my house. Campus is also good with every facility that a student needs. This college also provide teaching material to students so that they can get their concepts clear even at the time of exams.
