Remarks

It gets what it deserves...after playing witg the futture of thousands of students..GTU has decided to close it in 2018.With a sad end...our center point of fun and learing has been closed nowadays. Within 8 years of academic startup college has been closed by GTU recently.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exam structure is a semester based with. A. Credit score. The pattern of internal exam chanegs in every semester.and the best is the viva..when proffcer just ask us...bol betta tekko jo aata hai wo bol...and still the student stand silently .

Placement Experience

Ours is a boug college With 0 placement opportunity with a masssive number of fail students in every exam Didnt. Done. Any extra course...no companies are intrusted to buy such a scrap the college has produced.

College Events

In the name of events we have a freshers and farewell parties..with a techfest organised evry twice year..but as its gareebo ka clg. Very few students from other college participate in it..mostly the student from the clg go on outing or hangout in nearby places while these days

Fee Structure And Facilities

The only advantage of college is a feasible fee structure. It has the lowest fees in ACPC GTU's 2012 booklet. no othe college offers a degree enginnering in just 53k/year.howevr the quality standard is also low as his fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

College is affiliated with AICTE. SO any gov skim or entreprenural. NGOs had put a noticeable efffort to get a gem from mud.and some of them are got succeeded too...that cha wali lady in chello divas movie is our computer faculty.

Campus Life

In a 4 year civil engineering program we hardly perform a single practicle in college..all ther machines arre just to show off to attract new students.computer lab was pretty good. However mechanical ad well as civil is in same criteria.

Hostel Facilities

No.as my home is just 15 km away from the college i havent charges for hostel facilities.but as the college is in remote locatio. Many a student who come out of Ahmedabad have to take hostel facility... College has not any hostel facility so the students take rooms or pg at nearby towns..

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

There is not any official alumini group.. however a group to getting back the refuds of our deposite which is taken illegally by our college is going effactively...just because of 10000 is not a small money for any middle class man

In starting the faclty was pretty good effortive..but in the end as managgment manners decrease the techng qualities also got down.. Many of faculties just come there to play games. Or chat with their fiyance or bf/gf.

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Likes

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

A True Review

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Beyond the Brochure: A Critical Look at College Life

Likes

Dkte is best for practical knowledge because of its pilot plants which are having machineries with good working conditions
Highly skilled faculties with excellent experience of industrial as well as teaching sector
There are many facilities like idea lab and other testing labs are available which helps students in there project related and research related work

Dislikes

College timing is more as compared to other Colleges
Extra curricular activities and annual events are not upto the marks as compared to other colleges
Canteen facilities for breakfast, lunch, dinner are not that good

Placement Experience:

Students are getting eligible in 6 semester for campus placement Companies like Trident , Arvind Ltd, epic group ,uniclo, vardhaman textile ,dyester ,Aditya Birla knits, Aditya Birla fashion retail, reliance, OCM ,donear etc are visiting and offering jobs ranging from 3.5 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum Highest salary job is given by companies like Trident and epic group the salary is ranging between 18 -19 lakhs 100 % of students are getting placed every year

College with Dream Life

I chose this college because of the course - AiMl. Not much colleges were offering this branch and also this college had a lower bracket of percentile too. I didnt apply to many colleges as i was focused more on branch rather than College. Admission process are similar to other college. Seat intake is on basis of MHTCET and JEE MAINS.
