Likes
- Teachers and Fees structure along with support they provide for financially weaker students.
- The college ambience is quite good and various extra curricular activities along with the class spatial structure.
- The skilltech is also launched which is autonomous and they technically enhnace the computer students.
Dislikes
- The dislike is the travelling as it outlier but not much. It takes atound 40 minutes from Naigaon and it is best possible route.
- The placement cell is not supportive as not many companies visit the college.
- The group of students who align technically is not much great and one should make their technically enhanced group with right ones.
Course Curriculum Overview
The computer engineering field is quite a vast field and from 1st year yo fourth year one can explore various domain of their interests. It merges hardware and software over foure year curriculum. It begins with foundational maths and electronics and expanding till Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, Databases, Web Development and cloud computing.
Fees and Financial Aid
jiUCoE's fees structure varies and college is supportive to financially struggling students. The SC/ST and TFWS fees is 14000, while open category fees is 1.17 lakhs and ebc students fees is 65000 yearly.
Campus Life
The Tantrotsav, Aurora, Vyro are the major events along With the Pitch Perfect events which is similar to shark tank and budding entrepreneurs can pitch their idea and interested judges can fund them eventually. It is linked with IIT- Bombay and collaborated with Entrepreneurship Cell of College. The various sports kit and ground in abundance is available for sporty students so chill down and have fun guys!
Admission
This college is majorly for those students who achieved less score in CET exams and eager to take up computer engineering as their field. The Skilltech which is recently launced is completely based on tech and autonomous and develop skills in computer field and gradually helps in grooming students.
Faculty
The faculties are one of the important aspects of college and UCoE's faculties are quite good in this aspect and approachable and problem solving with guidance. Shivam Shukla Sir, HoD in first year and John Kenny sir who has guided the team to Smart India Hackathon has good ratings in my book. There are 8 semesters in Engineering and with such faculties its easy to grab good CGPA.
