College life - being a better individual

The curriculum of my course is relevant somehow. They are teaching us the actual and detailed curriculum that is relevat is practical life as well. Like i have a subject named Income tax and it improved my knowledge of taxation system in India and i learned how to file return and currently i am earning form that too. Accountancy, financial management, literacy, subjects like these are really interesting and helpful for our financial growth and understanding the economy of the country and whole world. How these finances works . But the subjects like audit amd law they are theory oriented and basically the compliance as an individual we have to follow like company law, it is full of compliance and laws. So may be that's now my interest area or for now i couldn't connect it to the corporate world as an student. Other subjects like value addition cources they are really interesting and provides appropriate knowledge about the topic like i had a subject named financial literacy in my 2nd semester and i am really applying that knowledge in my day to day life too. I suggested my parents that how should we ultise our finances and use them in order to get the maximum utility. But there are some subjects which are not really relevant or. Say i dont find them relevant

Course fees vary every year. It is something about 3000-4000 per year. Apart from it in every semester there is examination fees which is something about 1500-1800. Total fees structure Admission fees including 1 year fees - ? 3200 Second year fees - ? 3500 Examination fees of first year - ?3000 Examination fees of second year - ? 3000 Total till now - 12700 Third and fourth year fees + examination is yet to be paid . As, I am a sc student fees of mine is less than other general and obc student.I usually pays 200 -300rs lesser than my batchmates.

The campus is really great. The facilities are good. Even college provides the adequate events and celebration of festivals. Like in my college there are events like annual festival of college and there are many competition as well. College appreciate the students who took part and awards for winning ones. At the time of diwali, diwali melas are organised, dandhiya night, freshers party, farewell parties and many more.

I applied to most of the du colleges . But my first preference was always my college (Miranda house) as it has the first ranking over other colleges. The admission process was simple as i applied through sc quota and got tha admission at 89.5 percentage and my name reflected in the first list itself.my goal was clear to get admission in miranda house college but my name also apeared in hansraj college and mata sundari college too. The eligibility to get admission through ncweb was simple like there are 3-4 list of selected students come out and if your name appears in that list then you have to submit the other documents and other proceedings. Something that bad happened with me that the maximum percentage of sc student in first list was 90 percentage and i have to apply in first list but due to Ommision i didn't applied and the percentage of other list are lower than my percentage so i have to wait till special list and i got my admission in specail list.

The faculty of the campus is really good. They are interactive and ready to guidance even apart from the syllabus and course. In our batch of 500 students there are two teachers alloted for each subject. There are some faculties which are not performing their jobs and are not really interested at their job. Like in every semester we have 7 subjects in total. 3 of them are the core subjects and other are the value addition courses. College sometimes doesn't provide faculty for additional subjects and forces to select the particular value addition course for which faculty is available. My experience with most of the faculties is great.
