Course Curriculum Overview

4

The exams do have a good difficulty level but if studies properly they are very easy and from the content taught. The curriculum is also designed according to what is necessary for students to learn. It starts from the basics of every module. But sometimes the portion is a little fast and hence we have to cope with the speed and make notes. Listening to the trs in class is more than enough to score good marks in exams and overall gain good knowledge of the subject.

Internships Opportunities

4

Many internship programs are offered to the students. Student exchange programs are available, industry internships are given to students too. Social internships and political internships are offered to interested students. Guest lectures and mentorship programs are held for all students.

Placement Experience

3

Students can apply for placement in the last semester. But internship opportunities can be accessed from the 3rd yr i.e. 6th semester. Companies like IBM, HCL, Michelin India, Infosys,ONGC, Axis Bank, Times Group visit the campus for placements. Google, microsoft, Amazon have also visited the campus for placements. overall placement percentage is 80%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering Technology are the highest. It's 355000. With decreasing as we opt for other engineering branches. A 100% scholarship is granted to people who have over 97 percentile in MHT-CET and a 50% scholarship to those who score above 95 percentile.

Campus Life

3

Their are many clubs in the college. Technical clubs like GDSC, AWS, cultural clubs like cultural, fankaar, racing car and bike clubs host many events throughout the year. Big events like Aarohan Fest, RIDE, SLDP are also held for the students to enjoy. Sports matches are also held for various domains like basketball, badminton, etc

Admission

I applied to colleges like coep, pcoep and vjti which I was rejected from as I scored 94% in MHT-CET. I applied to colleges like modern college in pune, clgs like lokamanya tilak clg, etc in Mumbai where I got accepted. But considering the traffic and safety issues in Mumbai, I opted for pune colleges and took admission in MIT. The admissions in MIT WPU start after the MHT-CET results are announced, from July. All engineering exams are accepted here, JEE, MHT-CET, PERA-CET. The admission process is available online as well as offline, only the documents have to be submitted in the office. The overall cut-off for CSE core goes down to 92 percentile.

Faculty

4

Every semester has two exams, a midterm and an endterm. Most endterms are checked by external faculties. The papers are strictly checked and no excuse is given to students for late submissions. The attendance criteria is 80% but students till 60% are allowed to attend extra lectures and catch up on their attendance.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.

The college has its some good and some bads. The college is away from city and the environment here is very good for study. Although college infrastructure is good the security of college should be improved.
