This college provides 6Be courses and also provide ME course. branches available are EC,CS,IS,CIVIL,MECH,EEE, and Architecture.mechanical has seperate block beside main building and civil and architecture are in jnana bharati campus.Exam structure will be sem wise.there will 8subjects each sem including labs each for 125marks with a total of 1000marks.percentile system is followed here.from 2019batch, exam structure is changed to cgpa system.and btech degree will be given for them.results will be given after a month or 2months of exam

Placements is the best thing in this college.Though it is a govt College with low infrastructure, placements are exceptionallu good here.this college comes under top5 category wrt placements with an average of 80percent placement.all top mnc companies will come for campus recruitment.internships will be given by various companies and stipend will around 10000pm.

Four fests are celebrated in this college 1) Inspiron:-Inspiron is an intra college tech fest which will takes place in the month of September. various tech events will be organised. 2)Fiesta:-Fiesta is an intra college cultural fest which takes place in the month of November.various cultural activities takes place and it is the time to show your cultural talents. 3)Impetus:-It is an inter college tech fest which will takes place in the month of March and will go for 2days.participants from various colleges attend for the events and there will be prizes given. 4)MILAGRO:-It is the last fest of the year and takes place in the month of May.it will be an inter college cultural fest of 2days. Various other events will be carried out various clubs of uvce and IEEE uvce throughout the year.

Fee structure is very feasible when compared to other colleges.nearly 1/3rd less.This is the ideal college for if u want nice education and financially feasible.and the fees concession will aslo be there through various scholarships.

Karepass scholarships is given for obc students by Karnataka backward classes department. Uvce alumni association also gives scholarships for students according merit basis and academic record. Vision uvce scholarship also there.interviews will takes place and accordingly they choose the students for scholarships.

This college has various clubs through which various activities will undergo every week.labs are kind off old and components are less.they are upgrading various labs and class rooms.when it comes to sports we can't expect much.But during milargo Various sports events takes place and prizes will be given.

No i did not opted for hostel.Boys hostel is beside the college.But the hostel infrastructure is very poor.Rooms are very stinky and they are not at all maintained.hot water will be given in thw morning and they will also provide mess breakfast lunch and dinner.nonveg and egg also provided 2times a week.But if you are ok with old building and bad infrastructure you can join hostel.Girls hostel is also nearby to college.

This college has vaery good alumni network.alumnis are all around the world and they provide various scholarships for students.and workshop will be taken by them. Senior students give us idea about college how things will happen in the college and about the placements and projects.

This college have various senior faculties who have experience of 20to 35 years. As it is a government college we cannot expect 100percent attendance of faculties. If you joined uvce means you will learn to self study.
