Remarks

North Indians having a nerd mentality can join this college without any worries but guys having a mentality of doing fun and disturbing nature, should take a pause and think again and again before joining this college because these andhra people will make you a rebel and the college authority is also strict.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I had decided to go for engineering so i came to bangalore and took admission in this college and after seeing my class 12th results the college authorities decided to give me admission, the fees was also nominal

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is very good, this year about more than 200 companies came and students from every branch was placed at a very reasonable packages. MCA students along with B.TECH students of second year too got placed.

College Events

3.5

Our college comprises of many clubs which provide us many co circular activities and the main thing the college fest is one of the biggest of all the fests we celebrate in whole bangalore. But we do not have freshers in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is slightly expensive for some middle class families and apart from it if you live in college hostel then you’ll have to pay a huge amount which is not worth it. Apart from the college fees they frequently ask for some minor donations nd consortium fees and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides you scholarships only to the local people who is the domicile of Karnataka or they provide scholarships to sindhi people because our chairman is also a sindhi, scholarship are not provided to any people from north.

Campus Life

4.5

We have many extra curricular activities, we have clubs which exposes you to a new world , there are many sports club which provide us many sports facilities, our college consists of indoor basketball, volleyball and badminton court. Many clubs take part in events in different colleges.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees is slightly high as compared to other colleges or other cities and they don’t provide much facilities, the curfew time is also very less, so it’s difficult for students to reach on time if you go out in a city like Bangalore where traffic sucks.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Andhra seniors are very rude and they have a different mind set towards North Indians, they are not even a bit helpful, kannadiga or local seniors are good, ragging is prohibited in our college but there is much dominations in our college.

Faculty

Faculty of my college is like seriously very good, they include us in every curriculum and along with it they help us from getting out of every trouble we face regarding our studies or any other financial issues.

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

I tried for dayanand sagar but didnt want to get into it as the fees was on the higher side comparing to new horizon college. The admission process is simple, go to the reception, they will guide you the process of enrolling into the college, they will provide the fee structure that you have to pay....Read More
