The things which i like the most is main the campus .
2nd thing which i like is the staff in the college campus
3rd thing is the security in the college and it's precise location

Dislikes

I dislike the fact that our rest of du friends aren't allowed in college campus for any fest.
Our college not provide us so many fests
The classrooms are not having Ac's atleast they should have in summers

Course Curriculum Overview

Basically for choosing bachelor of commerce course i saw the subjects over there which seems so much intersting and directly related to practicality in future in my stream , My curriculum helps me for sure to connect with practical world in future , the teachers should improve giving so much of waste assignments that is totally of time waste , time of exam is like depend on the subject , for core subjects it is 3 hours.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 13250 per year

Internships Opportunities

In kamala nehru college , several companies offer stipend based internships like Deloitte , ICICI bank , TCS , Cognizant HDFC bank , Internship programs often include market research , data analysis and client engagement.

Placement Experience

3rs semester students are eleigible for campus placements , Basically many companies visit in our college like deloitee , kpmg , pwc ,goldman sachs , ICICI bank , HDFC bank ,Tcs , infosys , wipro ,cognizant , unilever, amazon , flipkart etc...

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees that is personally paid is 13,250 and basically it is increasing year wise or you can say semester wise a bit.. , The available scholarships are merit cum scholarships and government scholarships institutional and external scholarships , basically financial aid plans include student loans and payment plans.

Campus Life

Kamala nehru college organize several cultural and tech fests , in February showcasing the talent of students and their innovations , college library offers a comprehensive range of books , journals , digital resources..

Admission

I have applied in banaras hindu univeristy but i haven't given the exam that's why the only option i have left with is delhi university that is just over hyped..., And personally i felt not that much special here in du.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is like 70-30% in my college , faculties are very easily approachable , I don't have any perosnal name of any faculty which i don't like everyone here is very supportive.. i like the whole commerce faculty specially 1st semester bachelor of commerce faculty , there are two exams sem1 and sem 2 , failing ratio is very low , they are damn easy , course curriculum is relevant enough.

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
