Likes

There are many campus life clubs and they are very interactive and good place to network with people
Facilities in SRM IST have high expertise and teaching methods are very good.
The quality of infrastructure in the campus is very engineered

Dislikes

The campus size could be more when compared with other colleges
Two wheeler Parking facility is not fully equipped to manage all bikes.
Other than the parking and campus size issue there's no other Major issue in this college

Course Curriculum Overview

Before choosing the department I got offered with Computer science, Information technology and Electronics and communication.I chose electronics and communication engineering mainly because after researching about this particular course I found that I'll learn about both core electronics and also about computer science related topics which will be very useful during the placement time .

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 185000 per year

Internships Opportunities

While the 6th sem is going on the placement season will start and companies will start coming for recruitment.Its better to do intership before these placement time so that you can make use of these intership experience and get placed in good companies during the on campus placement

Placement Experience

The placements offered in SRM is actually good.Even though there are a lot of students competing for few vacancies they will be a lot of companies who come for recruitment.Most people opting for placements will get placed.Even the package offered in placements are good when compared with offcampus packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees was 185000 .There were scholarship for students who have scored more than 80% in their high school.They provide a very high scholarship for students who have scored more than 90% in their 12th grade.

Campus Life

Usually evenone knows that SRM is famous for all the fancy events.There's an event knows as Milan which is one of the very famous college culturals happening in India.In campus there are many campuslife clubs and literacy clubs too.

Admission

My main aim was to enter into a good private university and found SRM to be very suitable for me.Afyer getting my 12th results I applied for few other colleges for safety and hoped for SRM.I mainly chose SRM because it's a deemed university and placements are good in SRM than any other college in Chennai.

Faculty

The faculties in the college have high expertise and they do teach very well.The education system in the college is truly very standard and enables us to gain a lot of knowledge from the curriculum.The marking system and question papers are choosen only by our college and it is designed in such a way that students would easily gain more necessary knowledge and also enjoy the college life.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam. The reason why I chose this course was because my family friend also joined here for architecture and she said the placements are top notch and it provides multiple opportunities abroad I got rejection from IISER because I failed in entrance exam.
