More than just a Degree

I chose bachelor of Commerce (B.com) as it includes various aspects of commerce, Business. Our curriculum provides real world experience, practical examples. I think frequency and timings of exams are suitable according to the level of exam For B.com course, curriculum needs to be more practical. It's more theoretical than Practical but as a commerce student, I feel practial is more important than theory so that we can utilize our course in real life

I am NCWEB student in Miranda House college and paying around 3500 INR annually. Yes, it's increasing in every academic year but not that much. It's increasing at a decreasing rate, only minimal amount increase annually. For NCWEB students, fees of all the categories are same. Yes, financial aid is available for needed students, and scholarships also provided by the college who are actually eligible for that. Like Post matric scholarship for OBC students : PMYASASVI

Miranda House college is specially famous for Fest. Almost all types of fests are there. Other celebrations are also include like Dandiya Nights, Diwali celebration etc. Yes, Regular course students have all the facilities whether it is Library facilities, clubs, Portal etc It provides all the facilities for regular students But these facilities are not available for NCWEB students

I applied for so many colleges and I was selected in top colleges like Hansraj College, Deen Dayal Upadhyay college, Rajdhani College, Hindu college, St. Stephen college. But I choose Miranda House college over the others as this college is No.1 college according to NIRF rank. Miranda has awesome infrastructure and has highly experienced faculties and very friendly with students. Admission process is quite simple You just need to apply online and verify your documents after that Merit list will be announced. After choosing college, you just need to select the course and pay the admission fees Cutoffs for general student should be more than 90% to take the admission in this college. Most preferred courses is B.A and B.Sc in Miranda as Miranda is Arts and Science college

If I'm talking about the Miranda House college's Faculties, so almost all are good in teaching. All lectures are highly experienced and have great communication skills. My favourite lecturer is Dhairya sir. He teaches Business Economics to us. He know each and every concept deeply and his teaching style is awesome. I never bored in his class. Annually, 2 semester are there so 2 times exams conducted in each academic year. All lectures take assessment of every students which includes Assignments, Practicals, Presentation, Tests. Only few faculties are there which have low communication skills, they have knowledge but can't communicate properly with students. Interaction between Students and faculties are also nice. Teachers are friendly with the students
