Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is well-structured as i said previously because of which i choose this program. It has specialized courses such as data analytics, machine learning and projects management. Projects, internships are integrated into this program to apply concepts in real-world scenarios. While th ecurriculum is strong if we have hands-on experience on labs and workshops especially in technical subject scould benefit more. Exams are conducted at regulat intervals of time to test both understanding and analytical skills which is moderately considerable.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are numerous internship opportunities available college students and ofcourse our college provides internships which includes research experience and work experience. Companies like Microsoft offers better internships in various roles with stipend of 25000 per month. Students should have done projects for enrollment. Projects on websites development so that the companies may know their experience in that particular role.

Placement Experience

4

Starting from seventh semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Several companies visit the campus each year including accenture, infosys, microsoft, tcs, capgemini and many. In the last placement season around 2000 offers were made by these companies. The highest package last year was approximately 44 LPA offered by Microsoft in our college in Computer Science role and the average package across all placements was around 6 to 9 LPA. Approximately 70% of eligible students secure dfor placements of our college. After my btech, I plan to work in a full stack developer role and gain experience in my domain.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees we need to pay for CMRIT is 110000 yearly which includes tution fees varies from 80000 to 150000 by course and specialization, caution fees is 5000 to 7000 which is refundable, registration fees is 2000, admission fees is 12000, development fees is 20000 t0 25000 annually, lab fees is 10000 to 20000 per year and the other compulsory charges are 5000 to 10000 for facilities like library, sports and exam fees. The students who holds scholarships in categories other than mine like SC/ST/OBC may include fee reductions upto 50% and students with top grades in entrance exams may get a scholarship of 50% to 100% of tution fees also there are sports scholarships for excelling in extracurricular activities which is upto 20% to 40%.

Campus Life

4

Our college helds two major fests every year which are Hackathons technical festsincluding coding challenges and Annual day celebrations in March. The college library is well-stocked with diverse collection of books, journals and e-resources. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors and Wi-Fi to enhance th elearning experience. Labs are also well-maintained. College includes sports like football field, basket ball, cricket field and indoor games as well. Student run clubs like coding club, music, art, dance and many other are highly active on campus.

Admission

Why did I choose this college over the others? I applied to several colleges including BVRIT, Vardhaman, JNTUH. I received confirmed admission from Vardhaman college. However i chose my current college because i got the specialized course which aligns with my career goals. Did you get a rejection from other colleges you applied to? Yes, I did get a rejection from BVRIT and JNTUH which is highly competitive selection preocess and my score fell below the cutoff. Nonetheless, this experience motivated me to perform better in other college admissions. What is the admission process of your college? Mention the eligibilty, exams accepted for your course? The admission process of my college involves minimum percentage in specific qualifying subjects. The college accepts scores from entrance exams like JEE, TSEamcet. The most preferred exam among the students for this course is TSEamcet exam whose cutoff varies to different categories. The overall admission experience is supportive.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:70 though it can be a bit crowded but faculty members are approachable and encourage open communication. Personally, i like my mathematics faculty of first Pf.Parveen Banu due to her real-world examples and making complex topics easy to understand and the faculty members i didn't like are lierally noone but physics professors use theoretical materials which are difficult to grasp the application type concepts. Our exam pattern is each semester includes midterm exams, final exam and practical exams to test both theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge. Passing rates are generally high but a few students around 10% may struggle with difficult subjects and the course curriculum is well-structured with a balance mix of theory and indstry trends.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
