Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum includes data structures , python , c , java and many languages data bases management everything required for the cse student and more extras such as uhv , EVs English etc , overall a solid 4/5 curriculum , maths and everything is there for around 2.5 yrs I believe , it's a gud curriculum with gud potential but something that won't fit into this world , so they take help of nptel and many other programs this that to let the student gain experience moree , they tell to do matlab cources and nptel cources to boost the CV and higher chance of placement , they have incorporated it in the curriculum Exams will be conducted in 1 month of ge sem starts and then in one month again exam and then again in 1 month model practicals , end sem practicals and then end sem exam happens

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is approx 4 for the first yr , 3.75 lakhs for 2nd and 3rd yr , then again 4 lakhs for 4th yr , (for nri) and for normal Indians it's 50k less every year (this is all approx values subjected to change by time of admissions I went in a bit late ) , You have merit options but that's based on how u perform ur first year. (I'm not sure about it since I didnt get it )

Campus Life

4

There are many number of clubss in the college , you can join whichever you want , there is ncc and all , you can join that too if interested , overall campus life is really gud , u have canteen with decently gud food , if hostel student they provide snacks and all, they have started placement training now for 2nd years , they conducted freshers day for the 1st years this time , then they have culturals that runs for 2 days, then there is another day hostel day if if ur a hostel student. Both the days are really enjoyable , they do it big it's great experience

Admission

I had applied to SRM University also , I gave exam and I got the seat for less fees , i would have gotten it if my 12th pcm percentage was a bit higher , it was 60 percent but I had 54 , so yes that's what went wrong and how I couldn't get into SRM, then I check colleges for mine found sathyabama was a better option , I saw cresent too but I didn't like that atmosphere I felt sathyabama was better ( it's just personal preference ) , Admission process at sathyabama is fairly easy , u can go to the college they will tell you the course select ur course they will tell the fees applicable to u , it might fluctuate by time , then u fill the forms and required documents and pay the fees. That's it.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is gud , not bad they will do their part but not fully like school ofc , they will just teach this and that , and you have to pick it up and learn they will teach almost most of the subjects , there will be totally 3 exams in a semester , first exam is CAE 1 , second is CAE 2 , thirt is End Sem , cae 1 and cae 2 are internal exams , these carry marks and they are each subject for 50 marks and 25 is passing mark , then these add up to final, end sem is for 100 marks each subject , and u have to have a total to clear the exam, it's usually easy if u practice everything.

Night Life

4

Soo if hostel , u have to stay inside the hostel room from 6 to 8 ( this changes from hostel to hostel) , there are few boys hostel (around 4) soo 6 to 8 u are not supposed to go out and at 8 the diner time , you can go roam in that time and all inside the campus itself , and then you can have dinner , canteen will be open , and then you can go back to your room around 10 mostly by 10 they close , inside hostel there's no much restrictions you can be awake as much as you want u can do ur own stuffs except few rules and regulations you need to follow , they will provide it to u , no orders from outside allowed due to safety reasons it seems .soo that's pretty much you might life , except that 2 hours inside the hostel rest hours you can do whatever u want , games everything.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.
