- KCC college is overall a good choice the faculty is nice to students and educated also they do not cancel classes they have a strict schedule for classes from 9am to 5pm and you get 1 hr lunch break in between.
- KCC college has many courses for different students like mba, bba , bjmc, btech so overall we have very good social interactions with all the students of different fields. also the infrastructure is very good almost every class has ACs and labs .
Dislikes
- college is overall good but there is 75% attendance rule so you cant skip classes regularly and if your attendance is short you have to pay fine. also there is just 1 lunch break and except that you cant roam around college or go out (officially )
Course Curriculum Overview
In kcc college B.tech is affilated to AKTU and the curriculum is good in 1st year we brush up our 12th basics then after that from 2nd year the subjects are job oriented all the subjects are good and helps gain our skills overall the curriculum is good just some subjects like human values and evs are helpful in our life but not relevent. The exams in college and university is of moderate level they are not at all difficult you just need to answer 3 question to pass the exam ( each question of 7 marks) and internal choice is provided which makes the exams very easy.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies like Wipro, TCS, Accendeture ,Siemens offer internship in the 3rd year of college these companies offer summer or winter break internships to students the internships are typically project based. Mostly the internships are 3-4 weeks or the long term internships are 3-6 months. Well some internships are unpaid but many of them offer a stipend of 5000 to 25000 per month and at the end of the internships students are provided with certificates.
Placement Experience
In kcc college campus placements starts from the ending of 4th year. The avgerage package is 8lpa and highest is 95lpa and lowest is 3lpa. In kcc college around 80% students gets placement mostly students go for off campus placements and many companies like wipro, google, hdfc bank and other companies frequently come for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
kcc college offers a wide range of programs such as engineering, bjmc, mba etc all of the courses are affilated to different universities. For B.tech the fee structure is 1lakh per year including labs fees and tution fees additional 7000 is added as examination fees except that there is no extra hidden charges. The 4 year fees (Full course fees will be 4lakhs except the examination charges) also KCCITM is the most affordable college no college except KCC has such low fees in Delhi. When you go for admission there is no admission charges they just ask for semester fees which is 5000 rs per semester. Students also take admission through AKTU counseling by which the fee structure is reduced a little bit and the fees is same for all the brances of B.tech.
Campus Life
The overall campus life is good time to time there are some events going on like cultural intercollege events dance events singing competitions and a annual fuel fest. additionally every saturday there is coding workshops going on by alumini of college placed in A grade companies with good packages. also there is sports fest and sports event which is intercollege, our college also has snooker and table tennis in indoor games. students have different clubs like dance clubs, singing clubs, coding clubs and also small coding groups for hackathons. Library is also very good every type of book is there in library the infastructure of library is also good.
Admission
I applied to many other college from IP university like jims and adgtim and many from aktu as well like NIET , United and galgotias I got excepted in all except adgitm and jims because of their eligiblity creteria my rank was low in JEE also their fees was high and kcc has the lowest fees in Delhi. In KCC college admission is taken on the basis of both 10+2 and JEE basis if you've not given JEE you can still take admission, the eligibility for admission is 50% aggregate in 10+2. Overall admission experience is good and easy you just have to fulfill eligibility and give semester fees.
Faculty
Faculty is very very good they teach nicely the syllabus is completed before the exams if you have doubts you can go ask teachers they will surely help you also the teahers are so educated they don't need any book to teach. In KCC college there are 4 exams in a semester : 1. sessional exams 2. second sessional 3.PUT (pre university examination just like pre boards) 4. end sems (final exams) the three of exams are conducted in college itself except the final semester examination for that we have a center which is usually near the college. The college exams are very helpful they are set by our college teachers itself and 95% of questions of college exams are same as university exams(end sems) so the college exams helps a lot. also they carry internal marks (5 marks from 30).
Interview Experience
No, they just wanted marksheet and then the check my marks and I got in It was a simple process no fuss was made also we have to summit semester fees during the admission no regestration charges are there but if you apply online I think they will ask for regestration charges but if you go to the college there is no as such charges taken
Night Life
The nightlife in college is not so good as we don't have university big campus but yes you can go to cafeteria at night in hostel gym is also there aditionally if you wanna hang out there are many markets like jagat farms is a market which is 1km from college it is good if you wanna chill sometimes there are also other markets nearby, if you wanna roam around at night for girls I would not suggest to after 7 outside college alone but inside college you are safe also the hostel in timings are 7:30pm for girls and 9pm for boys if you wanna stay beyond that you need parents permission for that.
