Likes

The Supporting professors who always helped me for the examination preperation.
The Annual Fest of my College in which I and my collegues enjoyed a lot.
The Infrastucture and greenery part of my college which always refreshed my mood.

Dislikes

The main aspect I disliked about my college is transportation because no direct commute was available to the college from my home.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course curriculum is good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. Beacuse in my course I covered each aspects like Maths, Economics and almost studied all subject during my entire session. The exams were held in May-June or Nov-Dec session.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester wise fees I have paid during my course is around 40000 for my overall course. Among the entire course fee the registration fee Rs 200 and Tution fees is something around Rs.6000 and development, lab and admission fees consists of around Rs 6500. So for a semester I paid around 12500 for a particular semester.

Campus Life

The campus of my college is so big and amazing. Each and every festivals were celeberated in my college with utmost joy and happiness. In the library of my college there are the large pool of books, magazines, journals of each fields. The sports day was celeberated during this many students took part in the games as per their choices.

Admission

I preferred this college over the other colleges of Delhi University because of its richness in eduction and the good culture. I applied to this college and thanksfully I got admission in this. No I didn't get any rejection from other college beacuse I didn't apply to other colleges. The Admission process in my college at my time is solely based on the cut-off marks which the college faculty listed out. So according to my12th percentage, I got the admission.The overall experience of my admission process in my college is so smooth beacuse there is no such as an exam mandatory before admission so if your percentge matches with the cutoff it would be easy to get into the college after the comprehensive document verification.

Faculty

The faculty staffs wer good at my college. One faculty I like most is my Economics professor. His way of teaching and humble nature was appreciable. And one thing I didn't like about my one professor is his arrogant nature and he was not available for his lecture in the class.

Night Life

I usually avoided to go the college in nights. There is a hostel in nearby of my college but I didn't stay in the hostel because I already resides in Delhi. My college is near by Lajpat nagar, so me and my friends usually go to the cafes where we chilled and enjoyed. There are many tourist places and gardens are also nearby to my college so according to my time and the availablity of my friends we also went there.

Likes

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. I chose this course because is provides a strong foundationfor higher studies, competetives exam and careers in the cmmerce field

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

Likes

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

Dislikes

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
