Theory and practical skills are balanced in NIT kurukshetra MBA program.A strong foundation is created by cor courses in marketing, finance and HR.Real world applications is improved through case studies and practical projects.Exam measures critical thinking and problem solving skill of students

Internships Opportunities

The companies providing interships is federal bank, axis bank, accenture, analytics , impex solutions etc . They were providing a reasonable stipend and pre placement offers for best perfomed students. The outcome after internship is very good.

Placement Experience

The placements in NIT Kurukshetra is very good . The average package is 6.5 CTC per annum . The height package is 15 lac in last year. More than 80% of students getting the placements . The companies visting IDFC bank, Axis bank, Federal Bank, college dunia , etc

Campus Life

The overall experience in college is very good and the atmosphere of the college is very calm and very effective ti study . Library providing wide verities of books and the clubs, sports and everything is very good. The gardening department in NIT kurukshetra is good

Hostel Facilities

There are 11 hostel for boys. The old hostel are very bad and new hostel are very good . The mess and all over facilities is very good but the old hostel are very bad . The rooms are very conjusted and very small

Faculty

The faculty ratio of NIT Kurukshetra is 4:1. Faculties of MBA are very loyal and talkative. They provide better mentoring. The exams are moderately difficult for an MBA. The caricculam is very effective. All faculties are approachable, especially MBA department

Interview Experience

Yes i faced a GD and a personal interview for My MBA admission. Their topics is real world problem facing in that time and they only ask basics of our undergraduate questions for personal interview. We wnat a newspaper knowledge for passing these rounds.

Night Life

The hostel timing of girls is 5:00 Am to 8:30 Pm There is no hostel timing for boys. But the college main gate timing is 5;00Am to 10:00 Pm. The location is college located is very safe and the nearest railway station is Kurukshetra Junction. It's Only 5 km far from college

One of the best universities for MBA

Likes

I like the overall vibe of the university. The infrastructure is very good with good grounds and eating points.
KRMU conducts fests, events, programmes and many other extra curricular activities. A few months ago, Jasmine Sandlas had performed here.
The faculties are very good and helpful. Internships are also offered. Moreover, placements of he last year was also good, one of my senior got 11LPA package.

Dislikes

A lot of time, the washrooms are dirty, the university should focus on cleanliness and hygien of the washrooms.
I don't like the 75% mandatory attendance.
The university should partiipate in games more like cricket tournament.

Placement Experience:

Placements is good. Higher placements come for Engineering students but MBA and BBA students also get avg placement of 8-9 LPA. Many of my seniors from last year got good placements at top companies like Hyundai, Maruti,Amkette, Flipkart, Adaan.

Placement Experience:

In the first year, there are placement opportunities for internship and in the second year, there are proper campus placements that take place, led by a student elected placement committee. Some of the top companies that extended offers for the students were Microsoft, Google, AccStrat, ITC, Mondelez, JPMC etc. The highest package offered was 5L and the average was 2.2L with 100% placements for the summer internships. I plan to work in the finance or consult sector after getting my degree.

Remarks:

The campus life at our college is very enjoyable. The system of library help the students to gain knowledge through different books. Ciunselling system is also provided at the college so that the student can get a healthy environment. Indoor Game facilities and a common room is also provided. These all are the positive things about our college.

Remarks:

College is cleaned. Rooms are very airy it would be good if there was an AC. But it is o.k. Campus is cleaned and green. Canteen is so good. They use to make fresh food every day which is the best thing of them so there is no need to worry about stomach ache due to old food. Overall good college.

Rules are strict. Students have to be punctual at college timings. In starting, schedule seems tough but after days goes, all turns into quality. Whatever the schedule is: it is good and long term beneficial for the growth of the students.

Remarks:

Considering the experience of the participants, the course has been designed for learning and upgradation of knowledge and skills nationally as well as internationally. The Course curriculum also includes one week foreign exposure to a neighbouring country. The international attachment of the participants of this group was organised at ‘Universiti Utara Malaysia, Kedah, Malaysia’.

Remarks:

The uniqueness of the programme lies in its extensive use of market professionals as resource persons for the programme. This college is in tier 1 nits and also it has given many great alumni which are one of the main reasons to go for this college . The college applied by me were NIT jaipur and NIT Rourkela but as it was near to my home so I went for this only .In order to get admission in this college one has to sit in jossaa counselling and after seat allocation physical reporting is done and then you can join the hostel and work to build a better tomorrow...Read More

NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly. Insights of Computer Dept of NIT KKR

admission is done through JEE Mains exam and counselling done through JOSAA counselling .NITs have 50 % state Quota . Counseling is conducted in 6 rounds and then 2 special rounds. JEE main is 3 hour exam of 300 marks with +4 for every correct - 1 for negative answers...Read More
