Remarks

There's no positive or negative remarks I want to give about my college, college is good for resident students & below average family background people can be study here. Overall I just want to tell you is Faculty here are very good & supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is good based on your choice & decisions. College will provide every course available to you. The exam structure is very strict, obedient & well handled facility will be there. Exam paper comes by fax I guess so there's no way of leaking the paper.

Placement Experience

Placement is there but only a few companies will come & take only a few students. No core companies will come and sure about this. And College won't provide any internship. Students have to go search for themselves.

College Events

4.5

College events we celebrate are college fest, ethnic day, sports day, fresher's day and at last send off for seniors. This much only we celebrate in our college premises & no other government holidays are celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For CET written students there will be less fees & some students gets admission through management qoute by paying 1.25 lakhs per year and there will be a scholarship for every student who has their family income less than 1lack.

Fees and Financial Aid

No Scholarship option is there in this college to avail. But Government of Karnataka is providing Scholarship for students who got their family income less than 1 lakhs through a yoga called Kar-e-pass.

Campus Life

Labs, sports, library, everything is good in this college. Labs are equipped with good apparatus & equipments. Sport room is there to play games & a small mini gym is there for hostlelates. Physical teacher is there to guide you.

Alumni/Alumna

No we have not seen any alumni students come over by our college I think there's no event for the senior students. And there is no network between students and alumni students. No they aren't helpful to us.

Faculty

Faculty is very good, there's nothing to worry about the teaching and all . Digital teaching method is there. Faculty will give ideas about time management, enhancing mind power & stress booster timely.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

I got into DBIT post completion of my diploma so it was a DSE or Direct second year engineering entry students , I got EXTC engineering in the second CAP round . The college offers Engineering in 4 Branches namely Computer Engineering , IT , EXTC, and Mechanical and students can get admission through either by doing 12th or after diploma . For students who have did 12th the college accepts admission through MHTCET and JEE the cutoff are usually high above 90+ percentile for Computer and IT branch while slightly low 80%+ for EXTC and Mechanical branch. The college has a overall seats of 120 seats in computer engineering Dept 60 of which are reserved for Christian Students.
