Course Curriculum Overview

4

the relevance is good they keep updatying the curriculum on a regular basis and have a good understanding of what is required by todays market and hence have a relevant course structure. It is a lot and the subjects are difficult especially for the core branches but they are worth it.

Placement Experience

4

The placemnts are good if ypu work hard for the 4 years that ypu are there.the placements happen in the 7th semester. around 600 companies visit the campus. the highest packed is 1cr and the average pacjkage is around 8.9 package i plan on sitting for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

At VIT the fees is divived based on your category which is based on your rank in their entrance Exam (VITEEE). This is applicable for all branches. The fees structure is : Category 1: 1,76,000 Category 2: 2,95,000 Category 3: 3,95,000 Category 4: 4,95,000 Category 5: 5,95,000 The hostel and the mess fees are separate addition along with other oone time fees like the fixed deposit and admission and processing fees etc

Campus Life

2

If you focis on your acedemics you dont really get time for all this . hte clubs are good and really helpfull and highly interactive. the annula fest is riviera and the tech fest is gravitas , riviera is held in februrary and gravitas in september each classroom has a smart board . the sports is where this college really lacks there are no incentives to pursue sports nor are the facilities provided up to par

Admission

To be honest i only got in bits that to only the core branches and lower nits with the core branches as well and i only wanted CSE, muy jEE didnt go the best so i didnt get the result i was hoping for. the admission process is that you have to give their own private entrance exam VITEE and you get in based on yopur rank in the above mentioned exam

Faculty

3

The faculties are overall mixed you might find some really good ones and some who you will really hate. But the overall scene is just ok. The academics are really stressfull and rigorous but are good and well structured except for certain courses. The timetable will be hectic but you have the freedom to choose faculties ane class timings.

Night Life

3

there is no nightlife as the hostel in time is 9pm the library is the only thing that is open after that. there are [plenty of cafes and gyms and they are all good famous hangout places include foodys , apples, kc foods, dc , fc etc

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
