Likes

Affordability being the number one pro for the college
Meeting people from various cultures and diversities that adds not only to the bookish knowledge but also improves the social circle
People from different classes studying under one roof showing unity

Dislikes

The infrastructure can be improved as the university comes under central government
The selection criteria should be more fair, as general people suffer the most despite working hard. Whereas people belonging to other classes get addmission at low score
The boys is to girls ratio has a hugee difference, showing gender inequality

Course Curriculum Overview

I have a keen interest in economics and political Science so I chose it. My subjects especially political Science makes me more confident as it contains presentations. Although in these digital times teaches can provide assignments online, rather than on pen and paper

Class Size: 3Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees I'm paying annually is 15665 which is quite affordable considering the brand value of DU. The duration of my course is three years. Although the fees vary for various categories. The fees for OBCs is comparatively is less and coming of SCs and STs, it is almost negligible. The university also provides fees advantage to people with disability and orphan kids

Campus Life

The fests are held in November and December. The library contains of a variety of books, study material etc. Our college is renowned for sports activities. Many sports personalities have passed out from our college

Admission

I applied for IPU, DTU, IILM. And got to the merit list of all three. In IILM I got the offer letter, but as I am a not delhite, I didn't have delhi quota so I couldn't get into others. DU being the best option after it, I secured addmission in it.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is quite good. The teachers are approachable. The exams are held semester wise. It means twice annually. But there are several tests and practicals apart from exams. Exam level is moderate

Interview Experience

Only one national level exam known as CUET was held to qualify for this college. The exam was conducted for several days. The syllabus was vast as we had to look to NCERTs of various subjects. After that the university took several rounds to conduct the admissions

Night Life

Our college has 2 canteens which offer a variety of cuisines. The prices are pretty affordable. The college does not offer any hostel facilities, but there are various paying guest(pg) facilities around.

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

Likes

I liked the Vibe of the Campus and Culture
I liked the faculties and Curriculam like inclusion of Case studies

Placement Experience:

Placments here are good , Reputed Companies here visit campus offering great packages like Asian paints and MRF. They also help student in preparing for the Placements by organizing variouas events and sessions

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

college provide good placements. Recently companies like deloite, paytm, zepto, agile, insplore and many more companies visited in campus. only 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. Average package company offered is 500000. as for internships only 5th semester in 2nd year are eligible for applying in internships.

Likes

The professors in my college are very supportive
There is many opportunities in every field of engineering
No crowded place professors support in projects and guides you to get better placement

Dislikes

Hostel management are very low lack of room for home state students
Due to construction dust is flowing around

My college provide good no. Of placement and placement from 7th semester students are eligible for placement many companies come over for recruits highest package is 6 lakh to 80 lakhs above 6 cgpa students are eligible to sit on placement

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

Fair yet worthy

Likes

The opportunity of placements are very good.
Faculty is very helpful and strict at the same time.
The privilage of free treatments for students and their families.

Dislikes

The campus is small and no fests are there.
No canteen is there and only badminton court there .
Girls hostel is there but not so comfortable it is.

Placement Experience:

Placements are the best part of this whole course. Placements are provided vy the college, at the end of the course which is of duration of 4.5 years. The placements can be at Govt. Hospitals, like AIIMS.

Remarks:

Faculties of this institute are good and helps in understanding each and every thing clearly and also it is near to my house. Campus is also good with every facility that a student needs. This college also provide teaching material to students so that they can get their concepts clear even at the time of exams.
