Course Curriculum Overview

4

courses are mostly theory, it takes a lot of pain in saying that even when i have studied AI idk how does AI work in real life, so yes, theory is top class but for practical knowledge do your own project. i studied cyber security but as theory so did my own project to get more knowledge. works fine if you just want to pass and get a degree. do your project after knowning the basics is the best way to get most out of it. exams are thrice per sem, 2 being of 50 marks and 1 being of 100. 1st exam of 50 marks is known as CAT 1 which is converted to 15 internal marks, second is an open book 50 mark exam convertged to 15 internal marks. in between you will get 3 10 internal marks assignment or quiz according to the faculty and finally 100 mark exam which converts to 40 marks. now to pass you need minimum of 40 in the final exam out of 100 and overall the avg goes to 50 so 50 internal. which is easy to pass

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are first given to nine pointers and is given in 5th sem as well. in 7th sem companies start coming for placements which also provide the internship or job. so in short internships are good, placements are good. projects are compulsory in 7th and 8th sem.

Placement Experience

5

students become eligible for placement once they have completed their 6th sem and have no backogs. till now nearly 250 companies have visited. 300-400 companies visit every year with avg package of 8l. highest went to 1cr till now and out of 14k people for placement nearly 30-40% people are placed till october and it started in july mid. i am sitting for placement and got job in deloitte in sept end. as they train everyone in placement for interviews and exams, it took me one chance in deloitte to get placed. very helpful in that case. i got shortlisted in 1 company and got placed after 4 rounds of interviews.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has categories accroding to the rank we have in the exam which they take privaetly online known as VITEEE. i was in category two and they have circuit branches and other demanding branches having higher fees and lower demand branches with lower fees. they have scholarship for the toppers. i did fall under general with no scholarship so paid 3Lakh per annum. different people had starting from 2Lakh to 5Lakh fees accroding to their category though it was fix fees for entire tenure. did not increase

Campus Life

4

overall there are multiple clubs and chapters making you super busy and worked with enjoyment if you want to, 100 clubs giving lot of work and enjoyment in any field. you name a field and you have a club for that here. library is very very huge giving ebooks and normal books and journal. easy to publish journal if you are vitian. sports and clubs are very active, chess, badminton, swimming tt free.

Hostel Facilities

5

hostel has registration process, high rankers with high gpa get a chance to pick their room mates and their room with room number and block first. so if you dont have 8.5 or above cgpa and want a very good room, make a friend who is 9 pointer. food has fixed menu in mess, you have 3 options for mess- veg, non veg and special. you can change mess every month. everyday south indian dish and something north indian. Gets habituated in a few weeks. hostel has badminton court, good ac and very short power cut.

Admission

i wanted admission in gov colleges but did not get due to high cut off so i applied in this giving private exam, now this is the best private college in india so helped in getting placement. i sat for placement in july and had job in deloitte on 1st october, though placement is very bad this year due to recession but people are getting placed. it is not very difficult if you are at a place where they bring almost 300-400 companies,

Faculty

3

faculties and subjects can be chosen at the start of the sem by all, known as FFCS fully flexible credit system where we can choose the subject to study and the faculty to study under, though all the grading was relative choosing good faculty was the best option if you want to sleep. grading is relative so if faculty gives marks to all, avg goes high but if faculty does not give marks, people fail. so moderate are the best. all are phd docterate and well knowledged faculties so are a little egoistic obviously they are having so many students and so much stress. but approachable in their open hours or upon sending them mail to meet personally in their cabin.

Night Life

2

there is no nightlife post 9pm if you do not have a special permission to work in a club at that oarticular day which allows you to go out in some class from 9pm-1am. you cant go out of hostel post 9pm and if you are a girl then your college in time is 7pm and hostel intime is 8:30pm. for guys it is hostel intime 9pm, get inside college at 8:55 and you are sorted. hangout places are foodies, basketball court or fc dc to have food. nothing much to hangout inside but out of collge you can hang out with frineds.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.
