- the tuition fees is to high , which might be difficult for some student to afford.
- The ratio of boy and girls are very unbalanced (around 5:1 ratio).
- The university has a strict attendance policy which means students must attend a 75% of classes to give exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
the course curriculum is good . It combimes theorys with praciticals projects and internships. There are rooms for students to improve their soft skills. Exams are not soo difficult, student mange to pass the exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee is approximately 2,00,000 Rs. with the total course fee of around 8,00,000 Rs. for four years. This includes tuition and lab fees, along with a one-time refuandable caution deposit of 10,000 Rs. to 20,000 Rs. Scholarships are avilable through govt. schemes like Post-Matric-Scholarships for SC/OBC studends AICTE schoarships for J&K students.
Campus Life
The campus of Chitkara University is very small and library is also small but there are a lot of books and well manged seating. There are badmintion court, table tennis court ,football ground and cricket ground also for playing.
Admission
I chose Chitkara University over like CU, LPU and Thapar due to AI and Data science and its storng placement. I was admitted to LPU , but Chitkara is much batter than it. I not chose Punjab Univerity because i didn't meet their cutoff.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:20-25, which is good for interaction between student and teachers. Many teachers are approachable and help students a lot. Professors like Dr. Anil Kumar are very good and friendly with students. Some professors are not good in understanding the topices. There are 2 or 3 ST's And 1 End Tream exam.
Night Life
The noghtlife in campus is good. There classes around 9PM. There many acitivity to do in campus in night. There are so many lights around campus which make campus beauiful at night. Students are allowed till 12AM to move in campus.
