Likes

I really like the atmosphere of du college.
There is lot of societies for students to join
Du election are really helpful for those students who want to pursue their career in politics

Dislikes

Classes got cancelled randomly and students get informed just 5 to 6 min earlier which is really irritating.
Lots of fights happen during college election period.
You will get low marks in internal examination no matter how much effort you put .

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be an civil servants nd delhi university curriculam is quite helpful for it I was a history and political science student nd my college syllabus help me a lot in my upsc preparation.one thing I want to suggest for a little change in their teaching methods to relate the class topic to current World. The frequency of examination are quite comfortable examination happen in every 5to 6 months

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 7798 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provide internship but there is no value of it ..in the end of college some company comes for interview nd select students but these companies are not that good nd also did not provide good stipend.student rarely join these internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for one year is 7798 which is quite affordable. I,m an arts so there is no another fee for anything only we have to pay examination fee . And for the reserved category there is quite good concession in fee amount like if u belong to sc category u have to pay only 5000 fee per year. Also u can get scholarship through nsp scheme

Campus Life

There are lot of fest held in Delhi University in November there are several numbers of diwali party also yearly fest held in college every year . You can easily find your course book in library along with newspaper and magazines.. Honestly there is no technology provided in classrooms.campus offered good opportunity for sports like football, cricket nd volleyball.yes there are many social groups u find in campus

Admission

I want to study in Miranda but I got satywati college due to my marks which is not enough for Miranda. Nd I choose evening college because I m more comfortable in this time . eligibility for admission is now u have to get really good marks in cuet exam during my admission time it's totally based on board percentage. Admission process are quite easy

Faculty

Faculties are really irresponsible some are also really helpful..i really liked the faculty of arts because I m an arts student and also it is really approachable nd very supportive for upsc aspirants.i did not like the commerce faculty they are really irresponsible.there is 2 time semester exam in a year .which are quite easy rarely anyone fail in it.course circulum are really relevant for future preparation.

Night Life

College locality is very safe nd u can comfortably hangout also in night there is lots of options of marks ,tea point Momos point in near campus also lot of cafes nd restaurants. You can also get rented pg and flats near campus easily.

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

I liked the Vibe of the Campus and Culture

Placement Experience:

Placments here are good , Reputed Companies here visit campus offering great packages like Asian paints and MRF. They also help student in preparing for the Placements by organizing variouas events and sessions

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

college provide good placements. Recently companies like deloite, paytm, zepto, agile, insplore and many more companies visited in campus. only 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. Average package company offered is 500000. as for internships only 5th semester in 2nd year are eligible for applying in internships.

The professors in my college are very supportive
There is many opportunities in every field of engineering
No crowded place professors support in projects and guides you to get better placement

Dislikes

Hostel management are very low lack of room for home state students
Due to construction dust is flowing around

My college provide good no. Of placement and placement from 7th semester students are eligible for placement many companies come over for recruits highest package is 6 lakh to 80 lakhs above 6 cgpa students are eligible to sit on placement

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

Likes

The opportunity of placements are very good.
Faculty is very helpful and strict at the same time.
The privilage of free treatments for students and their families.

Dislikes

The campus is small and no fests are there.
No canteen is there and only badminton court there .
Girls hostel is there but not so comfortable it is.

Placement Experience:

Placements are the best part of this whole course. Placements are provided vy the college, at the end of the course which is of duration of 4.5 years. The placements can be at Govt. Hospitals, like AIIMS.

Remarks:

Faculties of this institute are good and helps in understanding each and every thing clearly and also it is near to my house. Campus is also good with every facility that a student needs. This college also provide teaching material to students so that they can get their concepts clear even at the time of exams.
