Likes

Pattern of exams as we can score good marks without much efforts

Dislikes

Everything about the hostel(food,rooms, restrictions)
There are no events(most probably any 3 or 4 each year)

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good as the topic covers each and everything needed but the faculties are not able to teach everything properly! You need to self study if you want to have good knowledge about the field

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

For IT and CSE departments there will be lot of placements from 3rd yr onwards.But for my course only 2 or 3 companies come and salary is very less approximately 2.5 lakhs per annum will be given!!!!!

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees-70,000 per year Hostel fees-25000(4 per with attached bathroom)-This fees depends upon which room you take. Mess fees- Monthly around 3500-4000 Placement fees-4000 per yr Store fees-5000 per year

Campus Life

Very worst!! No fests or events Yearly once onam and Pongal celebration other than that annual day! Nothing else!There are many clubs but only few of them run properly!! Library is good but staff there is worst

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very very poor! No good facilities! They don't even have a generator so electricity may come and go nobody knows when it comes or not! Same for water-somedays you won't get water through your room pipes You need to take a bucket and collect water from ground floor!

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

I mainly chose this college because in my state there is no college having Petrochemical Technology.That is the only reason I joined here!(Worst mistake of my life I have ever took).Please don't join here

Faculty

Some faculties are good but some are not! Most of them don't know what they are teaching.Some of them won't even teach they will just sent the pdf and tell us to study it. Most of them are short tempered

Night Life

Gym is inside both girls and boys hostel.Hostel is the worst thing.During college days you need to enter by 5.30 pm for girls hostel.Boys can enter at any time.If you want to go outside you need permission from lot of people

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

The Lab facilities is very good for the students to improve the coding knowledge.

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas.My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.
