Course Curriculum Overview
So, I did BCOM HONS which helps ypu land high payoing roles in health and managment. Though the faculties can use little modern techniques to teach. Every semester exams are taken with a total of six semesters and they are on the moderate to difficult side.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year Delhi University avails graduates from all over the globe. There are reservations and seats for everyone who has done well academically. Final admission is taken on the basis of merit scores. DU Tution fee details as per 2025 for BCOM HONS is an average of 50k-1L for 2 years divided across semesters. The registration fees varies on yearly basis. The hostel fees is around 66k- 1.5L depending upon the plan that you arer taking. The tution fees for the Reservation categories including SC, ST, OBC is around 15k for the first year and for PWD IS 120 for the first year depending upon the semesters. The scholarships availed by my college(BHARATI COLLEGE, DU) is on merit cum basis and the percentage shouldn't be less than 75 and family income is less than 2L pa.
Campus Life
DU is well equipped with the aspects of campus as well as social life. There were multiple fests events organised within the campus and other du colleges as well as well as on certain festivals. Tech wise classrooms had smart tvs but depended on how they functioned on that day. I was a part of placement cell, resultiong in a good profile and a good placement in the end.
Admission
So, the admission process in DU is merit based, I had 90 percent and anted to opt for bcom hons from a good college had to choose between lakshmi bai and bharati. I Choose the later one for the better subject selection.
Faculty
Every class was was a size of 50-60 students and about 12000 Undergrad students in DU. With a 11:1 student faculty ratio. The faculties are excellentb ad use modern techniques to teach and are eager to helpm student with every need. I didn't gel well with the accounts dept faculty as they were rigid in their teachings.
Night Life
The hostel was well equipped with facilities but the food quality lacked the timings however were 8pm last to report to your room. There is ample safety and the canteen and library were my go to hagout places there. There was an adjoining lane where you can shop as well.
