Course Curriculum Overview
Course is mainly about the theoretical perspectives rather than the practical ones.Curriculum should be modified by the university so as to focus on the topics that would directly help the students in placements.
Placement Experience
Various companies visit college such as recently Capgemini visited the college but the fact is that placements of Galgoita university and galgotia college are same and occur at same place so there is much competition among the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for my course is consistent for all students, irrespective of their category. In the first year, I paid 1,15,000, which includes tuition fees and other compulsory charges. Additionally, I paid 7,000 as university exam fees. In the second year, the fees increased slightly to 1,17,000, with the same 7,000 exam fees for the university. No separate charges were levied for registration, admission, or development fees, and no caution fees were applicable. All students, including those from different categories such as General, SC, ST, and OBC, pay the same amount for the course. The fees are uniform, and there are no variations based on management or reserved categories. Regarding scholarships, there are no specific financial aid options provided directly by the institution. However, students can apply for external scholarships such as the UP Government Scholarship for eligible categories or merit-cum-need-based scholarships offered by various organizations. These scholarships can significantly reduce the financial burden for deserving students. Overall, the total fees paid so far for the course amount to 2,46,000, including exam fees. The slight increase in the second-year fees reflects minor adjustments in the structure.
Campus Life
Annual festivals are the freshers party and farewell party. Inbetween these fests there are sports days two times a year and multiple coding hackathons are arranged by the college.There is a coding club also that CS students can join to enhance their experience in coding.
Admission
I applied for the the college because of its name value. The admission process for the college is simple.You can get direct admission as early as possible before all the seats get filled or through the cuet exam.
Faculty
Faculty lacks education and not well trained.Almost all the teachers are noobs and doesn't know even the industry culture and coding practices.Faculties are not approachable at all, students need to put all their efforts to pass the exams.
Night Life
Gym is there in the college but only hostel students are allowed for the entry. Multiple cafeterias are there in the campus but their rates are very high considering other colleges cafeterias.Library has a very nice environment to study.
