Dislikes
- Lsr canteen is very expensive. The rate of food items are very high and the Quantitiy as well as taste of food is not worth it. The infrastructure of canteen is also not so fascinating it need some improvements like whitewash and more chairs and tab
- In lsr Attendance is very important specially in b.el.ed course . In b.el.ed course you have to maintain 75% Attendance it is compulsory . If you are not maintaining your Attendance it can give many negative impacts on your results . Attendance is is
- In lsr the academic pressure is very high . Professors are very punctual about assignments and projects . The competition in lsr is very high. It can be stressful for students sometimes.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.el.ed is a professional and bilingual course. It is 4- year integrated professional degree course.The aims of this course in lsr is building effective leaders in education. In this course we learn about many teaching methods for teaching students. We do visits in schools and promotes inclusivity .
Internships Opportunities
In b.el.ed 4th year , we have to do a internship in schools for experience and after that in last months we gets placements through our colleges. Currently I als don't know about projects and outcomes to clarify the tasks because I am on first year .
Placement Experience
Yes , lsr provide placements . IN B.el.ed course 4th year Students are eligible for placements. In b.el.ed many NGOs, private schools and government schools offered placements. My plans after degree is to get a job in government school and side by side do M.ed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall fees of B.el.ed is ? 24000 per annum and the fees is increasing every year by 10%. The fees of my batchmates are also same. LSR also provides freeships and scholarships and you can fill other govt. Scholarship as well.
Campus Life
The annual fest of our college is Tarang and the department fest of b.el.ed is shehar that held between feb-march . There is a wide range of books and journals available in the library. There are many social groups run by students of lsr like students liason where we can share our problems related to college.
Admission
My only course preference was b.el.ed and I wanted to pursue my b.el.ed from lsr and I got it. but In my preference list I filled many colleges like miranda house , lady shri ram , jesus and mary and many more . I got admission in lsr by giving cuet exams . After the results of cuet according to my score . I got admission in lsr according to my rank.
Faculty
In lsr overall faculty members are good and very friendly. The equation between students and faculty members is very practical and professional. In b.el.ed course all faculty members are best .they are very supportive. All faculty members are very encouraging. They always support us for enhancing our skills .
Night Life
When classes are over me and mine friends often explore the campus , sing songs in groups and go to canteen to eat new new things. We also visit backgate of campus where stalls are situated to eat some more foods .upper seminar hall and roses garden , exhibition hall and Amphitheater are the best places to do group discussions and gossips.
