Remarks
Overall KIIT is a good college for people who are choosing private college and if u choosing IT,CS then there is nothing to worry you would be placed after the course and KIIT is best for CS.so opt for CS
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good for students..Its matket enriched..So we would be learning Artificial Intelligence.. which is the biggest recent technology advancements. Also there is a proper time given to students to prepare them for exams
Placement Experience
Placements are the best part to happen in KIIT. if u are studying in KIIT.they would enrich you and would give interview training exposure so that u get placed in any of the companies . there are also many societies which would boost and help you for your placements
College Events
Events celebrated are Freshers party, DJ night, KIITMUN, TEDX.So first of all when u take admission in KIIT.In 2 months of ur sem u would be having freshers party..Then there woulf be some DJ night in 2nd sem.also KIITMUN happens. You can take part in TedX also
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure as compared to middle class family is expensive cause almost 16 lakh is the total combined fees for your engineering and fees get hiked every two years. The session 2019-2023 has a semester tuition fees of 1.75 lakhs
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is given to the students who have scored in rank 1000 in KIITEE exam.Sot they are given 10000 per month scholarship and if they get above 9.5 CGPA in their first sem then their scholarship is continued. You can also get loan in the counseling there is certain venue for this
Campus Life
Sports is good. But the biggest problem is that if u need to play sports u need to give money to play sports.Every sports has different fees.So i think it should be free for all hostelers as there are in many colleges
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are really good. Many options comes for the students if he want to choose 3 bedded non ac rooms, 3 bedded ac rooms, 2 bedded ac rooms or 1 bedded ac rooms.Fees is also good as for examples fees for 3 bedded room for a sem is only 21k
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are helpful.U can ask them about how to prepare, how to study, anything they are supportive and helpful too.Unlink other colleges ragging is completely banned and i haven't heard any incidents of ragging in KIIT.So you dont need to be scared to talk to seniors
Admission
First of all, I have to given an exam called KIITEE..And after giving thid exam..results are announced and counselling is scheduled in Bhubaneswar..So in counselling we need to give some demand draft to confirm our seat in the chosen course
Faculty
Faculty of the college is really good..One can ask as many questions he want until his doubt is solved..Computer faculties aren't that good but some teachers are very good in teaching.Maths faculty is too good.
