An Insider Perspective

The course Electronics and computer engineering is very relevent in the future because we have both hardware and software.Through the teaching methods we will be prepared for the real world. Here for every semister we will have mini projects which give a hands on experience.The timing of exams are really chill, every 1 and half month one IA and at last one semister end examination(SEE).

There are many internships provided, as I'm of first year I dont have much idea about it.But the mini projects given every semister is really helpful and we can use it for our resume other than that we will be having different certifications to do.

The placements of our college are good for a tier 2 college.For my branch average package is 6lpa. Big companies like google and microsoft dont come for recruitment.Highest package is 45lpa and lowest is 2lpa. Almost 80% of students get placed.My plan after degree is to do masters.

I opted for electronics and computer engineering course. I am from KCET ,the fees for my course is 117000rs and additional 19950rs as university fee. This college tuition fees wont increase every year.The management fees for my course is 375000. There are some schollarships like SSP and NSP for students studied in karnataka.

Here there are many events going on daily, the main fest is called Revothsava,there is a technical club called devbrae for coding.There ate 10 active clubs in our departement.There are many books in the library for reading. There are classroms with charging ports down the bench and there areprojectors also.For sports people there are many facilities and extracurricular activities are held weekly.

Hostel is very good.We get hot water,wifi and food.The hot water timings are 630am to 8am.The mess food is really good compared to other colleges.After admission to college hostel admission can be done.

I didnt keep any other option for colleges other than Reva university because my ranking in KCET was 31390 and for this rank this was the best college.The admission process was not at al hectic and it was systemstic.

The faculty here is moderate, not that good nor bad. But the professors encourage students in all fields acadamics and non academics. I liked programming with C professor and mathematics professor.There are 3 exams every semister and the difficulty level is moderate,5 or 6 in 60 students fail to pass the exam.

The nightlife here is good.There is one gym which is wel equipped, the fees for gym is 4000rs for 3 months.There are many cafes, the main is food court.The library opens at 9 and closes at 12 night.Hostel timings for girls is 9pm and boys is 10pm or 11pm.The locality is not safe to roam around at night.
