Course Curriculum Overview

4

The aspect that influenced to take this course is my goal which is being a chartered accountant(C.A). The curriculum provides with the various important aspects which one can use while creating a contract or if u want to be a manager it will teach u about the principles of management and moreover it also teachs how to manage the accounts of the business. The only improvement is that the addition of these VAC which is forced on the students to opt from particular subjects

Internships Opportunities

5

We get alot of opportunities for intership with the help of placement cell-Disha we recently got the opportunity to apply for the intership at ReGraduate at the profiles of sales intern and HR intern. It was a remote internship with the roles of:- 1. Assisting in identifying and researching potential B2B clients through market research. 2.Helping in preparing sales material and demo products for potential clients. 3.Join clients meetings to gain exposure to B2B sales presentations and pitching techniques.

Placement Experience

5

3rd year students are the ones which get eligible for campus placement nearing the end of their semester.Companies like Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG and HCL etc..i have heard our seniors talking about the average package which is around 10 LPA and the highest package of 36.4 LPA getting the roles of consultant, HR manager and others. My plans after getting the degree is to complete my C.A course and become a charterred accountant.

Fees and Financial Aid

As u already know hindu college which is one of the oldest college in the country built in 1899.At first just like an average commerce student opting for B.com(hons) i was dishearted as i was not able to get into my dream college which is SRCC and was in regret but later after joining the college and exploring it.I think it's good that i didn't get into SRCC as now i am sure that the college has the best faculty, best infrastructure and if not the best it has one of the best campus in the University of Delhi The fees for my course which i am paying is ?26,685 annually. At the end i would to say that its the perfect combination of all the things required for student to develop his/her personal

Campus Life

5

The main fest of our college are ‘Suruchi' which is conducted in the month of october i.e nearby diwali and the other one is ‘MECCA' which is popularly known as the boggest fest of the university. The college has got great facilities and technical products for the easy understanding of students. The college offers alot of extracurricular activities which like recently an basketball tournament was held. Moreover there are various music, dancing and modelling societies in the college. There isn't any student-run social group but there is one society named friends corner which helps students to overcome their issues.

Admission

1.The other place i got admission in was jamia milia islamia,Delhi where i got the admission confirmed in B.com(hons) only. But later when i got in Hindui choose this college it has better faculty, environment and exposure. 2.The only rejection was which i got from SRCC as i wasn't able to reach the cut off marks of that college so i get into hindu as my marks were not according to the cut off for SRCC. 3.The admission process is simple. As u must have passed 12th or equivalent exam.Which enables them to apply for CUET and from which the students get admission based on their marks as per the requirements for the differents courses and their preferences

Faculty

5

The college faculty is amazing and they are really easily approachable. They are too co-operative as well as very supportive.I dont like to figure out any particular faculty member as all the faculty member are too co-operative and there isn't any reason for me to hate any particular faculty. There aren't many tests during the normal days but they do give assignments normally. The faculty conducts test at the end of the semester for the process of continous assignment. The test doesn't have high level of difficulty. The students don't fail too often. Its like once in a blue moon type of think which happens rarely.

Night Life

5

As i don't reside in the college hostel i don't know much about the nightlife of campus but i can tell u that the campus looks amazing in the evening. It has an whole different vibe in the evening. The famous hangout spots outside the college is “Tom uncle maggi point” and “Sudama Tea stall” which are the most popular places to hangout in the north campus and if u want to u can go to "MKT" too. As far as i have obsereved the locality is safe to roam around at night as i have experienced it myself.

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

In the context of a fictional scenario, the placement scenario would depend on the specific college within Delhi University. Some colleges have robust placement cells that facilitate campus placements with various companies. The placement scenario can vary, and it's advisable to check with the specific college for accurate and up-to-date information.
