Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is same as other colleges under MAKAUT but our college has some extra classes from our 1st year like C and year onwards python,java etc.This extra classes help us in the internship.
Internships Opportunities
In 1st year I haven't thought about it but from senior I have heard that the placement cell of our college helps us to get internships as well as placements.So from 2nd year I would opt for internships.
Placement Experience
The placement in our college is great.The placement percentage in the previous year was 85% more or less if you have studied a little you would at least get a decent package of 4 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, Cognizant are very normal here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our per semester fees is 52,000 rs and At the time of admission you have to pay around 105000 rs including the 52,000 1st semester fees.If you are domicile of West Bengal then You would get 60,000 rs per year if your marks in 12th is above 60% and you have to maintain 6.75 ygpa.
Campus Life
Campus Life is great here and there are all sorts of clubs like gaming club, photography club,nature club they also host some competition with decent prize pool and by participating on it you also get MAR points.
Admission
This college's fees is low in comparison to other colleges has good placement percentage and college campus is also great and has a good work culture.The fest of our college ARCADIA is one of the biggest College festivals in West Bengal
Faculty
The faculty members are very good and they all are mainly IIT-ians and Jadavpur passout. Their teaching skills are also good specially the computer science department.Exams are normal as the other MAKAUT colleges but internal exams re very strict.
Night Life
The night lige here is not that great like the cities because shops and everything gets closed around ar 9.30 pm and if you stay in the hostel you can't get out after 7.30pm.But streets are safe at night here so don't worry.
Other Applied Colleges
Techno Main Salt Lake | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
The fees there is higher and campus is not that good .
