Likes
- What I liked most about my college (Lakshmibai College DU) is that it's an all girls college, so feel very safe in our college campus.
- The college campus is very much connected to nature, there are animals which the staff take care off, also the pond and trees are maintained properly.
- The faculty is an expert in what they are doing. They provide students with great mentorship and are always ready to support.
Dislikes
- The college canteen has the worst food you will ever see.
- The professors treat us like school student. Mostly with first year student
- Classes get cancelled a lot, so it's a major problem because they mostly don't inform you in advance.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm a commerce background student so I'm doing bcom cuz this all I can do. If you focus in classes and practical ms it will be very useful but again it depends on you. There are no projectors or big enough computer labs to fit in all the students which is a major drawback.

I paid 14,000 for the first year in Lakshmibai College DU for bcom program Tution fee:14000 P.Y. (admission fee) Examination fee: almost 1600 per semester As a General category There are numerous scholarships you can apply for
Campus Life
Diwali fest is conducted in the month before diwali. Also a DU fest will happen in mounths around January, February The library has tons of books but they are of old edition mostly but still useful The facilities of classrooms in new building is okayish although projectors are needed. The sport and extracurricular activities are very good in college you can join several societies for dance l, music, acting and sports.
Admission
I applied for several other colleges, like all colleges under DU , BHU, AU, Jaipur national university, BBEU etc. I choose Lakshmibai College DU because coming to Delhi is a great opportunity for exposure. Yes I got rejected from BHU cuz my CUET scores were not that good. The college admission process for all DU colleges are same. You have to give CUET exam after your 12th boards exam. Different course has different eligibility criteria like for commerce cources u have to choose Business studies, Accountancy, Economics, English and General test for your cuet exam. The cutoff for bcom program for a general category student is 600+ out of 800
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:70 (approx) . There will be mixed reactions in terms of faculty to students relationship but overall it's not that bad. I liked my Digital communication professor the most her name is Ms.Sheena lama she's a great educator. There is only one exam of each subject in the end of every semester, marks are given on the basis of practicals, CA, IA, viva, etc.
Night Life
There are some cafes around college but they're a Lil expensive, there are also food stalls u can eat from. Inside the college campus there is not much places to hangout but the campus is beautiful in my opinion, it's really nature connected, u can hang out in the ground, near the pond etc The are around college is not much safe to hangout even in day but you can hangout in kamla nagar which is 15 mins from college in day or during night time.
