Remarks

Positive remarks- there is lot of chance to get job and to be successful. And I'm pretty sure that after the fulfilment of course you'll learn enough knowledge to crack any interview. Negative remarks- Sports and hostel management isn't better enough.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exam procedure is just like the semester process i.e. after each and every 6months a semester final exam. Here the course electrical engineering is very much intresting and worthy too. in previous year almost 72% of students got job on campusing.

Placement Experience

Yes,our college provide internship. According to some seniors,they are little bit happy with their internships but the payment they got isn't sufficient or not enough for them. According to our previous batchmates, almost 72% of the students got suitable placements and the rests are semester drop out or want to go for higher studies.

College Events

Every year we celebrated many occasions and functions. That's are Freshers Welcome, Cultural Fest ,Campus fest etc. Beside these Saraswati Puja, Independence day, College inauguration day,some national events also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For every branch,The four year course fee approx 3.5lacs to 4 lacs. If You admitted through donation the it becomes near about 5 to 5.5 lacs. As per the recent survey record all private college's has just same fee structure so for me it's not expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

They give almost every scholarship opportunities. Almost more than 40% of students got the scholarship facilities from various group like Jindal,Tata etc. Beside this some Govt. Scholarship is also provided here like Kanyashree,Ruposhree etc.

Campus Life

Labs, Smart Classroom,Auditorium are very good ,always net and clean. And about the sports,they are not good enough due to lack of large sport ground. But every kind of sports equipments are available here.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are too friendly and very helpful. They always stand besides us in each and every kind of problems. Although there are such seniors who are very rude but most of them are too friendly to be brothers.

Admission

I got rank 18,756 in AIEEE And got electrical trade in this college in 1st council process. Then i got appointed for the seat locking process and then i successfully admitted in electrical engineering in Asansol Engineering College.

Faculty

The faculty management team is good enough.If there is any kind of problem occurs,the faculty comes and take the situation under control within few minutes. And also the members of the faculty are very helpful and behave properly.

One of the things i liked the most was the quality of lecture given by the professors
The campus is very spacious the college has every facility
A fully equipted studio and lab for Journalism students

Things i disliked was the most has to be the locality the college is really nice but the locality is a bit shady

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Likes

The Framework is said to be great, with well equipped classroom and simply get to the libraries.
The offices at this college are great. In any case, these changes depending on the quality of the companies going by the college and the victory of the internship changes by the internship.
Understudies appreciate the campus life and flexibility to associate with others understudies. However, there are few impediments such as the division of floors between senior and junior. College life is nice and could be an inviting place for others

Dislikes

The college doesn't have lodging, and understudies must organize their settlement locally.
The college doesn't have a big field to play like any other big college

Placement Experience:

In Syamaprasad College placements and internships are given to the final year students. And the companies that offer placements are Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, etc. The highest package goes up to 20-24 lakhs and the average package goes to 6-8 lakhs. 70-80% of students get their placement in my college. At that time I planned to get the degree and apply to a multinational company with a high salary package with company facilities.

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. I chose AEC due to better infrastructure and the nearity of Institute from my home. I got offers from many colleges in west bengal but due to high fees and remoteness from my home i did not opt for those Institute.
