Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have chosen IT because i love to code and subjects like pps, dsa , python are there to help you..there should be few improvement i should think should be there, first one is they should focus more on practical than theory in coding languages.. timings of exam frequency are good and papers are always moderate they are not hard ...some time they are even easy

Internships Opportunities

4

The companies which come in placements also provides the internship opportunities to the students sometimes they are paid sometime they are not. There are few students got internship i know in my friend circle

Placement Experience

4

7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . There are many companies that visit like amazon(might have come few times), infosys, deloitt, vipro ,tcs ect.. the package provided is 5400000. 40%-45% students get placed.my plans after getting the degree is to get placed in good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 260000 including hostel fees and we as a latest batch of 2024 have extra 2000-3000 fees than our seniors there are some quota for SC and ST categories.my batchmate have same fees as mine scholarship amount is 20000 is for economically weaker section..

Campus Life

5

Experience of the campus life is good looking on the social and everyone is socially active.. The availablity of academic books are decent low..the facilities and technology are quit good..the are good in extra curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are quite decent there are 2 seater 3 seater and 4 seater available in the hostels, in total there are 6 hostel out of which 5 are for boys and 1 for girls , girl's hostel is quite big as compared to boys

Admission

I didn't applied for any colleges my elder brother was also graduated from this college and he suggested me to get addimited as the facilities are good.. as I'vent applied to any other colleges so i haven't got rejected.you can get addmission in this college by giving PTU entrence test or you can directly go for addmission by filling the college form online or my visiting the college

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio is 10:90.. facilities are really good they are always open for helping students in class as well as outside class they are so responsible. Teachers of workshop are not good they don't have manners, they don't know how to communicate with students. There are 3 exams in a semester 2 are mid sem 1 and mid sem 2 and the 3rd one is PTU exam conducted by PTU (punjab technical university)

Interview Experience

5

They are good the group discussion and interview but i haven't given any test for addmission i just fill the addmission form and they addimited me for CSE there is 75% criteria but no other criteria for any course

Night Life

5

Popular hangouts for students, there are places for students to relax, study, or socialize late into the night. Parks, dormitory events, or sports screenings are also there for students.there is no hostle times for boys but are for girls and the campus timing is 6 am to 8 pm which i feel is little earlier in night

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
