VIT – Ranked No.13 in Engineering Institution by MHRD, Govt. of India – NIRF Ranking consecutively for two years, 2016 and 2017. VIT is the first and only University in India to get 4-STAR rating from QS, the international ranking agency. VIT has been adjudged as the “University of the year 2016” by the corporate body FICCI.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was awesome. In VIT they will follow international university rules. Now they are using CAL course and FFCS(fully flexible credit system), In each course 100 is full marks. Out of this they will take 40 marks from FAT(final assessment test, it will be held for 100 marks they will convert into 40), 30 form CAT(continues assessment test., there will be two cat exams which will be held for 100(50+50) at last they will convert it into 30), rest 30 marks will be taken from digital assignments. Pass criteria 50 in total, 40 in FAT
Placement Experience
VIT is the first and only University in India to get 4-STAR rating from QS, the international ranking agency. Its giving 100% placement. It will take care of each and every student. Mostly in the final year alot of companies will be in queue to recruit people.
College Events
Techno VIT:- It will be held in Fall sem( 1st sem in an academic year). It is a formal event. All technical events takes place in this fest. Students from various colleges will come and takes place in this event. Vibrance:- its a informal event will be held on winter sem (2nd sem in an academic year. So many informal events will be takes place. So many actors and singers will come.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. Vit provide all facilities You will get worth for each and every rupee you have paid The mess will provide the food which will be equal taste to the star hotel There will be a QCM (quality circular meeting) in every month where you can say all your problems and quality.
Fees and Financial Aid
VIT is a deemed university and so many banks will show anxiety to give loans to the students upto 20 lakh. Below 7 lakhs they will give without surity above that you should provide surity of land or house. For VITEEE rank holders scholarships are available.
Campus Life
For sports lovers its amazing place. All sports outdoor courts available i.e. Cricket, football, volleyball, settle, basketball, tennis and so on. And indoor games like table tenis, carrom,. Available high equipped gym available
Hostel Facilities
Hostel fee is lesscompared to other colleges. It will be nearly 1 lakh for annum for non ac and nonveg mess And nearly 1.5 lakh per annum for AC room. Ther will 2, 3,4,6 bedded rooms available fees will be varies.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a association called VITAA( VIT ALUMNI ASSOCIATION). Which has been doing well from past so many years. The senior students will help the students by giving personal development classes. Outdoor campus world etc
Admission
Actually there are so many courses are there. for btech there is a exam called VITEEE(VIT ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAM), first you have to appear in that exam. Then they will provide you with a rank through that rank you can join. For integrated course you can directly get into the college by your inter marks. Based on intermediate marks they will provide you with a rank then you can join.
Faculty
The faculty of Vit Well experienced and fully talented, They should do their phd from high college and they should be patience for entering into this college they should appear in a exam which was very hard.
