- Teachers are very nice .They are very friendly.They are also very much expert to explain our lessons.
- There is a big play ground and campus is very wide.Sports are available.
- Classes are take place with discipline and regularity.
Dislikes
- Lack of classroom. Our class does not have enough classroom to arrange classses.
- There is only one digital classroom,so we miss more interesting classes .
- The syllabus is out dated.The University/college should update the syllabus.
Course Curriculum Overview
From childhood I have a dream to higher studies in english.That is why I joined this course.The syllabus is out dated.I think modern literature should include in our syllabus.The exams are quite difficult to attend.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our three years total cost is almost 12k. This is a governmental college. Swami Vivekananda scholarship (SVMCM) is available here.you have to score over 6 CGPA to get the scholarship. Per semester admission fees and exam fees are taken.
Campus Life
There are many festivals in our college.Annual sports, Freshers, farewell,food festival,Basanta Utsab , and Agomani before Durga puja.Our college has a big library.So many books are available here.And also have a big computer lab.
Admission
I had applied multiple colleges.But this is college is near to my house.The culture of the college is very good.The admission process is based on HS marks.We get chance if the score is high.Overall the college is good.
Faculty
Four teachers are available in our English department.They are three female and 1 male.They are very excellent and friendly with us.Sudakshina Sengupta,the HOD of our department is my favourite teacher. we have 2 semester in one year,and two internal examination.The exams are quite strict.
Night Life
I do not stay at the College hostel so I don't have much idea about it.But our whole campus has CC tv camera and everywhere is light and guards are also available in night. Library is open only for hostelers.
