Course Curriculum Overview
Actually I have been admitted 2 months late in college. Delhi University policies are really complex. While I went college almost the syllabus was completed just for formality. None of the students were clear, I guess. All students are preparing themselves alone me during class test.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid 13200 during fresh admission. After that I haven't paid any extra fees. We have semester exam in January so I registered for exam and paid nearly Rs 2200. I haven't any knowledge about scholarship in my college but Delhi University provides various Scholarships.
Campus Life
Many events and festivals held in my college. Recently few months ago our society members had organised diwali fest. They also organised Welcome program for freshers. As in beginning I said they maintain properly of playground. There are many games played in college like football. Cricket, volleyball kabbadi etc. Football ground is proud for every student of Shyam lala college
Admission
I had applied for Indraprastha University as well as Delhi University. I didn't apply in IP college because of increment in fees and course duration. So at last I choose Delhi University for many reasons. First I was alloted Dyal Singh college but mismatch of documents , I was rejected and after again in another admission round I got shyam lal college evening.
Faculty
I am pursuing Bachelor of Commerce (Program). I have 7 subject of total making 3 core subjects and 4 elective subject. Core subjects are compulsory to attain and among 4 there are EVS, SAC, VAC. In some college there is provision to choose elective subject by themselves and some where college will allot you by themselves on the basis of availability of subjects.
Night Life
My college don't have hostel it self. So students coming from far village they stayed in hostel/PG. My college lies in Shahdara. I found many students are staying in PG or taking flats and staying. I don't found any GYM near my college.
