2 years of fun + learning

Life is good. Infrastructure is 6.5/10. Two years were good in terms of campus life, they take review of faculties too so you can rate your experience about the faculty. Visiting faculties are good in terms of teaching, experience.

The college has its own entrance exam and apart from that it takes into consideration GATE score + B Tech's CGPA. The entrance exam consists of written exam of core civil engineering subjects. Once you clear that you get into GD round and then PI.

The course curriculum is good for the said course, but the core faculty is not up to the mark. They lack field experience. But they gave got good visiting faculties immensely experienced in their respective subject. You are all by yourself in matter of core subjects. Overall, I would rate it 6/10.

The centralized placement cell is still under development. There's not much help and guidance from the department's faculty. Students have to find by themself for internship and stipend depends on the company and so mostly didn't get any stipend.

Just like internship, placement is also not that good. Few companies are aware about the course and college and they hire from here but even for a batch of 25 students, more than 40% were unplaced and found a job by themself. Package offered was good for those who got placed. Averaging 5 lac p.a.

A lot of religious as well as technical events are celebrated here. People from all the part of country come together and celebrate all the events be it technical, religious or any other. I didn't participate much so can't say more in detail about the same.

Expensive. Not affordable to everyone. Considering what other charges for a PG course it is still affordable and infrastructure it provides is good. The fees include costs for class fund, extra curricular activities fund and any other expenses the whole class has to bear otherwise and there's also share for sports related expenses.

Student loans are being offered by many banks and the repayment term starts 1 year after your education is completed and interest term starts after that only. I didn't take loan so cannot answer in detail.

Campus life is very good. Lots of extracurricular activities take place so overall a good experience and main thing is campus is open for 24 hours so it has got its own life and world.

Hostel facility is average. Availability of hostel rooms is less and food is OK. But surrounding areas has got much options so no worries about food.

The network is not much developed, but companies do come see the alumni and senior students' performance and dedication to the company. Otherwise the contrast of the same with the current batch is not that great. A proper and efficient network needs to be developed that will enhance the placement and internship opportunities for upcoming batches.

Exams are twice a semester so not that hectic but do had projects, seminar works, presentations to work on. Not so hectic but not so chilling too.
