Course Curriculum Overview

4

The faculties are well certified and they in depth knowledge about the course that made me to choose the course. Even though the course curriculums are well structured when it comes to real world they lack in various field as the topics what they teach in the class are outdated and no information will be provided to the students about the real world. The adaptation of real world examples and implementation in the class must be done. The frequency and timing of exams are well planned and well executed

Placement Experience

1

From 6th semester student become eligible to the placement and placement training is also provided by the college itself. The companies like Infosys visited the campus but no offers made The highest package provided is 10 LPA and average 4.5 LPA is offered The percentage of the students getting placed is bit low around 30% students get placed in a year. Getting a job

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission and registration fees I paid : 65500 Tution fees: 23000 Caution fees:10000 Exam fees:5000 Admission fee for SC/ST category is 500 Admission fee for Management category is 81000 Amount of scholarships and financial aid provided to the students is good like around 18000

Campus Life

5

I really enjoyed the college life as they also celebrate college festivals grandly and support every student to participate in the program. The accessibilty of books and general in the library is good. To books is available for a student at a time. The classroom facilities is good as projector is installed in every class and also good lighting is installed. Sports and extracurricular of the college is so good they promote sports Yes the student run social groups and clubs in college life there are variety of groups in the college

Hostel Facilities

4

The rent of the hostel is affordable as they give option to individual to opt AC or Non Ac room. The rooms are well mainatined 2 sharing bedroom is provided The meal quantity is unlimited to an individual The hostel locality is within the campus so good environment Food menu is also good. The local meals are provided

Admission

I got an opportunity from various other colleges like Alvas Engineering College. But I chose SJEC as I found study curriculum in this is very good. No I didnt get any rejection from other colleges I joined the college through government seat. The eligibilty is a KCET ranking and based on the rank cutoff I joined this college

Faculty

4

Faculties are well approachable they clear doubt of the students whenever they are asked to, hence there is a good student teacher relationship. As a ECE department student I like Padmini Bhat she is an Assistant Professor she is friendly natured and she is supportive to the students. Overall the faculties are very good. There is no such faculty who is worst Exams are mostly difficult but the well preparation will make it easy. Mark allocation is genuine by the faculties there were 3 internals will be conducted and the course curriculum is well structured

Night Life

5

The gym infracture very good and accessible to everyone who register. The cafeteria is well mainatined. The library is open for the students late at the night during exams Public area closs off is 7:30 in the noon during the special occassion it will extended after taking safety precautions The college timing is 9 to 5 and hostel is 6 AM-7:30 PM The locality is safe to roam even in the night time there is no worry. And there is a good hangout places inside the college too

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
