Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fee: 126595 Tuition fee: 26595 I'm SC(Scheduled Caste) so I have paid 50460 currently, Rest amount from SSP(State scholarship portal) Karnataka Govt Portal for Students 75000+ Schorlarship amount will be deducted to Admission department.. My friend from Category-1 paid 47000 rest amount will payable from SSP(State scholarship Portal), Karnataka Govt.. SSP for SC: 75000+ SSP for Cat-1: 70000+ State Scholarship Portal (SSP) from (Govt of Karnataka).
Campus Life
1) UTSAV (cultural fest, March) and TECHNOVANZA (tech fest, October). 2) RIT library has 120000+ books, 300+ journals, e-resources like IEEE and Springer, etc 3) "Smart clasrooms with projectors, Wi-Fi, Audio-visual aids and digital boards." 4) "Sports: Cricket, basketball, tennis, kabaddi and clubs/events." 5) "Student -run clubs like Robotics, music, dance and literary clubs foster creativity, teamwork, and community service, enriching student life."
Admission
1. I applied to RVCE, Got confirmed admissions from RVCE and RIT. choose RIT for its strong industry connections, research opportunities, and excellent placements. 2. Not rejected from any college, received admissions offers from applied collegs including RVCE and RIT but choose RIT for its superior reputation, faculty and placement opportunities. 3. RIT's admission process involves KCET/COMEDK/JEE Main scores. Eligibilty: 45% in 12th std with PCM. KCET is preferred, cutoffs range from 1000-5000. Smooth online process, couselling and document verification.
Faculty
1: Faculty-student ratio. supportive, approachable professors foster strong mentorship and guidance. 2: Dr. R China Appala Naidu, Dr, Monica Mundada, and Dr. TNR Kumar are notable faculty members at RIT... 3: Few strict professors like Dr. R ajshekar and Dr. Shailaja, but tough approach helped in learning. 4: "RIT exams: 2 stages, moderate difficulty. industry-connected curriculum with hands-on learning."
Night Life
1: Gym Evening 4:30pm, to 7:00pm, Cafeteries: 7am-7pm, Library: Morning 9:00am to 9:00pm, public areas: 10pm (security restrictions). 2: Hostel timings: 6am-9pm (girls), 10/11pm (boys) campus: 24/7 (access restricted after 10pm): 3: "Inside: Cafeteria, Library, Student Lounge. Outside: Orion Mall, Mantri Mall, MG Road, Cubbon Park. Locality is safe, but precautions advised at night."
