Course Curriculum Overview

My curriculum is optional English and Economics my influence is my teacher. I am preparing my subject lecture guidelines and my own notes. all lectures the best teaching and well-known notes. Exam time is very good and I am facing the exams very easily.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fees :- First-year fees 2700 for obc girls 3700 for obc boys and SC, ST fees are 1500 first year is completed. Second-year fees 3500 for girls. Boys SC & St all students pay the same amount. Final year fees 3935 for girls and SC & ST boys 4935 is obc boys fee totally completed degree. The scholarship is year wise 3 years for girls& boys obc 3500 SC&ST boys more than 10000?

Campus Life

One year to 3 functions in my college one traditional day fresher's party and the last one sendoff this major function of our college and a monthly one-day competitive information class function. The library facility is also good for SDA, FDA, IAS, KAS, and FDO constitution books all book in our library. Sports is the most important national handball prayer in our college and one blue of the university prayer of kabaddi. Totally college supper.

Admission

I choose this college because near to my village and has good lectures faculty and good opinions for all the people this college and exams are very strict. I comparing others my college is best my friend's college exams are very loose and copied but my college exams are very strict and, for example competitive exams

Faculty

My college faculty-to-student relationship is so elegant and we all love all lecturers. All lecturers are friendly, the exam is very strict and difficult, and almost all students pass the exam 50 students fail.

Night Life

Nightlife on the college campus is ok. And enjoyed the moment. Friends party is the happiness in life. Studying in a library is most important to reach a goal. Hostel girls government OBC hostel and hostel is memorial days in life long

Campus Life @ Central University of Karnataka

Likes

The campus was too good in its environment.
The exposure was too good with good library facilities.
We can socialise with Pan Indian exposure

Dislikes

Hostel facilities was not well maintained
Hostel food was not that much good sometimes
College was situated in a rural place, it was so hard to travel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. A honest Review of KJC

Likes

Well maintained Campus with almost 4 blocks and a lot of canteens
knowledgeable faculty and a lot of interesting and practical subjects
A lot of fests and programs almost every day

Placement Experience:

We have a separate placement cell, and everyone interested can join in for the same. We have students placed in target, Deloitte, Accenture and other companies, both domestic and international. Students in the final year can be eligible for the campus placements.

Dislikes

Fee is not worth to the college they are money minded
The behaviour of principal is not good towards students
80 persent over there are Malayalam students

Likes

The quality of teaching for my course - BA Economics (Hons) is exceptional. The professors give quality time with each student to ensure concepts are clear and go beyond the surface level teaching of all concepts.
Every student gets their own mentor, who is a professor within the University who will help you guide yourself through everything, ranging from academic difficulties to personal grievances. There are regular sessions scheduled with these mentors..
There is plenty of freedom in the university. Unlike other university's there is no strict dress code or unreasonable rules for the students to follow. The campus allows each indivitual to be true to themselves.

Dislikes

The campus is very far from the city, making it difficult to have any sort of weekend get aways to the city tiresome. There are very few places around the campus that will let you experience city life.
The university does not encourage competitive spirit festivals like youth festivals apart from sports. Hence narrowing down the avenues where students can get certificates for extra curriculars to add on to your CVs
Academic rigor can get too overwhelming sometimes and one may not get time to study for other parallel exams for masters like GMAT, CAT, GRE etc. Finding time for extra curriculars may also get difficult.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Insight into KJC by a real life student

Likes

The campus is a plus. It's really clean and green. They really take care of the cleanliness of the Campus. As for the girls to boys ratio, in my class there are more girls than boys. Idk much about college overall.
I like my professors a lot. But it's all about luck. I got nice ones.
We have LMS in college. So we are provided with notes and syllabus online that we can use anytime we want.

Dislikes

The administrative office is very annoying sometimes. Just to answer one question they send the students to different offices and waste our time.
I don't understand the dress code system. I mean it's good but girls are not allowed to wear long skirt. I'm not talking about short clothes. But even long skirts are not allowed.
I would say I dislike the locality sometimes. It's not that developed so there's always something kind of construction going on which causes a lot of pollution and breathing problem specially for me with breathing issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We get to learn many things not because of just the syllabus and courses but also because of the national and international conferences that are held in our college. People from other colleges come in and share their knowledge with us. This experience is really good for us students. We even have expert lectures from our alumnis who give us advice on what all is required in the world outside college to earn. All these are really helpful.
