college is situated in middle of old delhi.
conveyance is easily availabe. students easily get bus, and metro.
college has good infrasturcture and all faciltiy is available

Dislikes

canteen is not that great and not hygenic.
the college has good infrastructure but classes is not big enought.

the fees structure is basiclly same for all category with some execption. I paid 10000 in frist year and 11500 in next 2 years. however, student may applied for schorship and college also provide based on the family income.

INTERACTING WITH STUDENTS FROM DIFFERNT CULTURAL, REGIONAL AND ACADEMIC BACKGROUNDS . CLUB INVOLVEMENT : THE COLLEGE HAS WIDE RANGE OF CLUBS AND SOCIETIES. THE COLLEGE OFFERS A VARIETY OF CLUBS CATERING TO DIVERSE INTERESTS I AM INVOLVED IN NSS GROUP WHICH HAS ALLOWED ME TO DEVELOP LEADERSHIP SKIILLS AND BOOST MY CONFIDENCE TO COLLEGE EVENTS .

Admission

ZHD COLLEGE IS KNOWN FOR THE STORNG ACADEMIC PROGRAMS. THE FACULTY IS HIGHLY REGARDED AND COLLEGE OFFER A WELL ROUNDED CURRICULUM. THE COLLEGE LOCATION IS IN MIDDLE OF DELHI . THE LOCATION ALSO MADE IT EASIER FOR ME TO ACCESS VARIOUS RESOURCES IN CITY AND CONVEYANCE IS EASILY AVAILABLE. PASTLY, I FILLED THE ONLINE APPLICATION ON THE DU PORTAL PROVIDING ALL NECESSARY ACADEMIC DETIALS AND PERSONAL INFORMATION. THE ADMISSION IS BASED ON MERITL, WITH COLLEGE SETTING CUTOFF MARKS FOR EACH COURSE. SINCE I MET THE CUTOFF FOR MY CHOSEN PROGRAM , I WAS ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION. BUT RECENLY, STUDENTS NEED TO GIVE ENTRANCE EXAM AND BASED ON THE MARKS COLLEGE IS ALLOTED.

Faculty

the college has a dedicated adn experienced faculty across various departments. faculty is highly qualified and many holding advancd degrees. however behaviour of some faculty is not friendly. course structure : the university follow a semester based system with each year divided into 2 semesters. examination system : college follow the unversity of delhi examination system, and includes internal assessments and end of semester exams. marking scheme : the marking scheme follows a 100 marks system, with the breakdown as follows : theroy exam -- 70-75% of total marks internal assessment - 25-30% of total marks .

Interview Experience

no i didn't face any group discussion, interview or writtentest for the admission.however currently students have to pass entrance exam for admisssion.. for the interview , college did conduct interview for placements .

Night Life

THE COLLEGE HAS ALSO A EVENING CLASSES . THE COLLEGE IS LOCATED IN MIDDLE OF DELHI, THE NIGHT LIFE IS ALSO GREAT. MANY POPULAR LOCATION LIKE CONNAUGHT PLACE, CHANDI CHOWK , DARIYAGANJ, INDIA GATE ETC SITUATED NEAR THE COLLEGE WITH EASILY ACCESSABLE TRANSPORATATION.. MANY CAFES AND CASUAL HANGOUT PLACES IS LOCATED NEAR THE COLLEGE

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
