One of the best Computer Science Colleges

Yes there are few good and bad things about this college. If you want a city lifestyle then sorry this college has a taste of classic indian style of lifestyle and the college is having very good and greeny premises so make your mood happy every time you get out of classroom.

Exam pattern is little complex. There are several exams but mainly divided in 2 major and 2 minors. The college is autonomous hence it conducts its own exams. The marking scheme is 20 for internal, 30 for half term and 50 for term end.

If you are planning for a good Placement in company then you should opt for CSE and IT branches. This year there are 3 students who recieved annual package of more than 30lpa from same branch. Civil is not that good for placement however the civil students are performing extraordinary in CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS LIKE UPSC MPSC etc.

There are 4 major clubs (non tech) in college. Various events like Dance contest blood donation , awareness camps etc are conducted each year solely by students thus they learn to adopt management skills too. The event are good and few clubs focus on personality development skills too.

Fee structure is changing each year. Currently for b tech students of open category it is capped at 84910?. The previous year it was nearly 76000? and the year before than it was 67000? hence we can see a hike each year.

The college provides scholarship which are given by government only. There are no extra scholarship schemes solely by college committee. The students of casts get scholarship as per their annual family income and other relevant documents submission each year.

Sports is given high preference in the college just like academics this is one of the best thing of the college because physical score is as important as your academic score. Labs are clean and neat and costly equipment are available for use to the students.

Every year we meet alumni of respective department on 14th for 2 days which helps a lot. The employee are well settled as businessman mostly. There are many government officers from this college , recently 2 of the students have secured very good rank in UPSC exams.

MHT CET is the way to get entrance in college. the merit is really high you need to be in top 3000 for open category for the admission. Jammu and Kashmir student get chance for admission through the National portal of AICTE.

Faculties are experienced mostly. The staff is full of brilliant teachers. There are still faculties which have teaching experience more than 25 years too. The college is well known for the staff it has got.
