Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose mechanical engineering in this college because my senior's suggest me mechanical branch here because it's has high placement percentage over other branches and good faculty. Curriculum is perfect. Syllabus also relatable to mechanical and matches with gate examination syllabus I think open elective that are provided from other branches are not that relatable. So this is be burden for students Minor examination are of 1 hour and major examination of 3 hours. The time provided for exams is sufficient.

Internships Opportunities

2

Many companies offers 6 month internship to final year students and 2 months internship to pre final year students. Companies are- khanna paper mills 10000 stipend per month for sells post . Cognizant (15000per Month ) for web developer role.

Placement Experience

3

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are - larsen and turbo ,tech Mahindra, swaraj , wipro , Infosys and many manufacturing and welding (for honours ) . Highest placement is 18 lpa for computer science department student and average salary of college is around 4.5 lpa Highest salary for mechanical department is 12 lpa . Around 85 % students placed from mechanical department every year from campus placements. And around 70 percent overall. I am preparing for gate examination. I am looking forward to join PSU.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for undergraduate bachlor of engineering course for odd semester 35500(including 3500 hostel fees ) and 34500 for even semester and at time of admission 1 semester fees is 67500(including security fees , admission fees etc.) Their are NSP scholarship for students and private intership like - tech Mahindra, and Simpsons etc.

Campus Life

4

Techfest held every year in March month. And cultural fest( madhuram ) held in October month . Other fest like foodfest, sports meet etc. Held by college. Their is a central library in campus Every book is available related to curriculum in library. Their are computer librarys are available in every department. For tutorial there are smart classrooms Sports meet held every year and tournaments of each sports held based on different levels. Their are many clubs like - NSS . CODING CLUB - GDPG . endeavour and Mavericks club for robotics and drone building.

Hostel Facilities

4

In hostel rooms they provide a separate bade , a chair and a almirah for each . The food provided in hostels is average. Hostels are alloted at the time of admission to them who wanted to opt . Their are pg available outside the campus but students less prefer them because of distance of 5 km.

Admission

I get this college by CSAB counselling that has been for nit, iiit, gfti . I choose many other colleges in counselling but I get this college according to my rank in jee mains examination. I preferred this college over private colleges because of fee structure and campus placements Their are many ways to get admission here. Like - For ug direct entry by jossa and csab counselling In diploma by exam conducted by college Lateral entry in ug by LEET EXAM.

Faculty

4

Faculty to students Ratio is around 1:20 . Most of the faculty are with friendly nature and supportive. I like divesh bharti (associate professor) most because they are very supportive and friendly nature and they teach in practically manner. Many good professors like r.k. saxena , rajesh kumar, archana thakur , pushpa kumari . I don't like faculty from computer department because they not that much supportive for other department students. We have 2 minor examination of 15 Marks each ,10 marks assignment and 10 marks quiz and at last 50 marks major examination. Exams difficulty level depends upon faculty, most of exam papers is designed by many professor's involvement. around 10 to 20 percent students have back papers due to less marks and short attendance.

Night Life

5

Gym Opens in the time of morning and evening In morning from 6am to 8am and in evening 5pm to 8pm. Library opens daily at 9am to 9pm . Their is a shopping complex for students to purchase every thing of their needs. Their is a restaurant,a cafe and many stalls for specific items. All public areas close at 10 pm . Campus closes at 8pm for all students. Their is strict action for students to hangout out of campus after 8pm . Hostel close 10 pm for boys in summers and 9:30 pm in winters for boys. And for girls hostel close at 7pm in summer and 6pm in winters. Their are 8 Lakes in the campus ( 2 off then are big ) that increas the beauty of campus. For hangout lakes are best place Nursery of flowers ???? is so beautiful to hangout.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
